Wests Tigers sign Paul Momirovski

After watching his last two games on ISP-

- some very very poor misses in defence
- doesn’t go looking for work (dirty yards)

Depth signing at best imo. I hope he came cheap.

I was going to mention this last week… not very impressed with this signing , the Magpies Center played all over him , it seems the plodder signing mentally continues.

What magpie center would that be?

If the club signed Reg Gasnier some people on here would still complain. Give the criticism a rest for all our sakes.

If you were looking to define what an invisible man looks like, you could show someone one of the past 2 ISP games. The only time I recall seeing him yesterday was when he was pushed 20m backwards when taking a hit up off a penalty.

He is a value signing good depth and could develop into something better….no downside here.

Problem is Larry, we don't need or have the space in our squad for any more depth players. We lack quality.

At present we have one centre who's half decent. And one centre who's rubbish. Mck as an emergency backup. And now Mom. No club in the league has worse centres than us! And we now only have 3 spaces left to fill with several more positions screaming for quality!

When 2/3 of your squad are depth signings you've got problems. We realistically need to release another 4-5 players to be able to improve next season

For some WT haters here, even Mitchell and Chambers are plodders??

Can you name the teams that have 3 or 4 quality centres in their squads off contract so we can target them…

Someone mentioned Chayse Blair in another thread and got shut down fairly quickly...idk may not start ahead of the top centres in the top team but seems to do well for the Storm and does good things in big games for them would be in our top 2 but he wore sleeves on his jersey once so pass..

Great post. It'll be labelled negative and what not but you are right.

The only thing I'll say is 1-2 games isn't a sufficient summary of what a player can offer.

Everyone's banging on about Jazz Tevaga in the other signing thread, driven largely, it appears, from his performance in the Warrior's loss on the weekend.

One is playing an NRL final, the elite top level of his sport.

The other is playing in a league full of guys who will never cut it.

I wonder if we’ll see Momirovski replace the suspended Mitchell on the left edge for the Preliminary Final…?

Hang on. Everyone heralded Mitchell Moses as a future super star and international when he was the same age as Momirovski, There are so many players who initially don't stand out as future stars, Johnathon Thursthon is just one example. Hard work, attitude and focus are factors which don't pay off instantly but certainly but pay big dividends in the long run. If you wish hard enough you may get another Mitchell Moses.

This is a more accurate way of rating him than listening to us carry on.

The Roosters know him inside and out. if they pick him for this game it would suggest they have faith in him.

Aubusson and Matterson might be the other options, but Momirovski is the left center understudy to Mitchell.

Wow wouldn't that be huge for him
