WHICH NRL club has covered up the appalling behaviour of a drunk official who removed his clothes in front of a female employee at end-of-season drinks?

I don't know anything, but if I were a betting man I'd be taking the $1.10 on these incidents being related.

I agree with you. Mark 'Chippendale' O'Neill might be in a bit of trouble.

Well if the rumour is true, and it is just a rumour, you'd have to wonder at the circumstances. Firstly, the operations manager shouldn't be a part of Mad Monday - thats for the players and coaching staff, not back office. But if it was something like him partaking in a nudie run with the boys who didn't score this season, and a female staff member happened to witness this to some degree, then I don't think that's a fireable offence.

The true details will probably never emerge. He will either be sacked for misconduct, reprimanded for misconduct, or found not to have a case to answer to.

Maybe rather than just Pizza and Beers for the end of season bash…the GM of Football ordered some savoury as dessert...

Trial by media this country is going down the toilet fast will this ever stop…if he has a case to answer to well and good but really what a load of rubbish again someone's reputation destroyed before all the facts are known!

"_**something**_" happened and "_**someone**_" leaked it to the media…..this club is laughable the way its run...conspiracy theory.....Perth he we come....

There's very few rumours that amount to nothing these days. Something has gone down, and really, a man of the club shouldn't put himself in a position of compromise. I thought he was a leader.

Couldn't agree more, I was telling a mate that last night while taking a wee on a car in the carpark at the pub, we had been there all afternoon drinking we were blind, he had just chucked up in the dunnies and the bar maid was yelling at him for a comment he made. I had meat pie and sauce down the front of my shirt!

I hope my mate is alright he is has court today, he is defending a bank robber!

People are people, they do dumb things when pissed!

Funniest post i have read on here in years.

Yeah,i didn't know Officials/Staff posted here.

Take the lead from the Broncos….what incident? Nothing to see here etc etc. They have been getting away with it for nearly 30 seasons, maybe we should buy their magic rug with plenty of storage space under it.
WT are the gift that keep on giving, heaven forbid there will be a time when our greatest off season issue is where to hang the J.J Giltenan Shield.
Geez our club is a kindergarten it seems.

Bill Clinton was a leader, the president of US, and he was able to get away with much, much worse.

Yeah, but its pretty hard to sack the president.

Assume.
What if he was performance managing a staff member that then made a bullying counterclaim? Wouldn't be the first time it happened.

Willy likes to play, but plenty of consent from willing participants even if he was in a position of power, so no issue for mine.

What's the buzz referred to an incident with a club official in its sunday column. I'm not saying this was O'Neill, just saying he may not be the only official in NRL clubland in trouble

Exactly. This sounds completely different to me.

Thats drawing a very long bow - there was no mention whatsoever of mad monday. I would of thought end of season drinks meant for staff only seperate to players and coaching staff.
