What are you talking about? Many allegations against footballers amount to nothing. How many current players have legitimately been charged by police and found guilty in court or admitted guilt? Ryan Tandy, Rob Lui, Auva'a… did Greg Bird or Greg Inglis ever actually formally get convicted?

Yes Greg Bird got convicted and sentenced to imprisonment before his conviction was overturned on appeal by a District Court judge. Greg Inglis admitted his guilt and avoided a conviction being recorded.

If an incident is out of character generally for that person well they get a second chance if they are lucky. Before having a pee in public when a youngster after a night out would preclude youth from a career in for eg. the police force etc.. the judges have the discretion if the ramifications of the penalty heavily outweigh the petty offence.

Is a conviction the only measure of nothing?

Bill Clinton was a leader, the president of US, and he was able to get away with much, much worse.
Willy likes to play, but plenty of consent from willing participants even if he was in a position of power, so no issue for mine.
