Packer named to start with only one prop on the bench. Suggest that means that McIntyre will have to play big minutes with Huth being part of the prop rotation.

Between McQueen, Garner, McIntyre and Packer I hope the backs are ready to rip in and make a lot of the dirty metres.

Where do we go from here? Madge has basically dropped almost every player in the squad, if we don't produce the results does that suggest we need to go on another massive rebuild, or do we need to start looking at coaching options?

It is not the coach, it is the squad.

He has dropped almost all the vets, and they are the ones who need changing / will be changed once their contracts are up.

The problem is there is no one to replace Mbye on both accounts,Tommy is playing really well on the wing so why would you move him and I think Hoffman needs another 12 -18 mths in the lower grades.

We need Benji preparing for the hand over. If Brooks doesnt want to steer it, lets see if Walters can march us down the field. Would be more interesting to see if the burden of leadership was the chink in Brooks game. Marshall may have matured, but he also fell to bits as a traditional 7 for many seasons.

I’d be ok with that. Provided they play Benji on the left and Walters On the right.
If Walters is to be our main general play kicker we need him to be able to play on his strongest side.

Battle of the walking frames. Honestly, if Lawrence is the best back up centre we have then we are in big trouble. The guy has no lateral movement and no speed what so ever.

Maybe Rowdy is all the things you say.

He is better than Mbye who let in 4 tries last week.
He is better than Joey who is suspended for another three weeks.
He is better than Momo who is playing for the Storm.
He is better than Jennings who apart from being a "Bludger" is injured.
He at least is an International.
