I'll have to eat humble pie if I'm wrong but I really can't see our Dad's army beating the Brisbane young guns. The Broncos last start win will instill a lot of confidence while we just don't seem to have the forward punch or attacking potency to take control of the game. I can't agree with the Marshall /Walters combination or the promotion of McQueen and Packer. Too many plodders if you add these guys to Lawrence, Mbye and Eisenhuth. Would have tried Madden at half, kept Hoffman in the side at centre, persisted with Clarke and dropped Brooks and Mbye altogether.

last week Adam reynolds played great best game all year.
Mmbye will be sweet and defend well something wasnt right i think the presence of Latrell and a debutant winger in hoffman and Brooks bad reads didnt help
Packer should really be a big asset and hit it up hard with Aloia

Yep we need to win. Were on 8 points.

Sharks on 8 points play Warriors, dragons on 6 play Dogs. Raiders on 10 play roosters, Souths on 10 play knights. We either win and keep firming for a finals appearance or lose and we are in a dogfight for 8th or possibly slip further cause we play Parra next week.

I’m not comfortable with the team selection and not sure of Madges motives. I’m think Madge may have one eye on the next game.

Stronger than last week I reckon. McIntyre is better than Taylor, Mikaele has been good, Brooks will be good off the bench. Biggest question mark is on McQueen, MCK has been poor though

I watched the Broncs game last week and they were awful. The only thing that saved them was that the bulldogs were just diabolical. They seem to be a team of supreme athletes but lack a quality spine making them largely ineffectual. That won’t change this week and without Staggs and Fifita, I think they will struggle again.

Mbye had a shocker last week but it could have been because he was trying to get up quick because he thought he snuff it out to relive pressure on the young kid outside him. Not making excuses for him he had a shocker in defence for sure but he might be more comfotable talau's ability to defend outside him.
