I know Talau has played 6 in lower grades, but has he done any training with the first grade squad at 6 in the off-season?

Id be very disappointed if that happened. Mbyes defence and passing game are light years ahead of TT. Talaus lateral defence is poor and we have seen very little evidence of a passing game.

Find it a bit interesting that Simpkin isn't in the 17, let alone the 21

maybe they want 80 min game time in Reggie's for him.

Simpkin is only young and whatever time he plays in seconds will be a springboard to a 1st grade spot in the very near future.

We can afford to take the softly softly approach with him. Play a few games in nsw cup , tear them up , and once the grind and physicality of week in week out footy gets going he will naturally progress to NRL.

Mbye will do a job . If we win , it will be because Laurie , Roberts and BJ got early ball and put thier wingers away . People are sleeping on these 2, maybe not Daine. And our pack has me pumped .
