Talau's step and speed should make him a trouble for defenders

Also mbye should be able to help him with his good defence

That’s a good point, putting him next to a good defensive centre should help him.

I can tell why Madge signed Doueihi his attitude in his interview today was great. Didn’t mope around about getting a spray off Madge he knew Madge was right he welcomed the brutal honestly and said they had a intense session this morning and that everyone’s bounced back well.

I'm glad to see Musgrove in the team.

same he offers a lot in attack

Its no coincidence that when we bring on Seyfarth and Clark that opposition sides turn the game ...they do a job but aren't effective

Yea exactly, as soon as grant came off as well we lost momentum

I understand Garner is fine and could be a late inclusion

MCK will be spewing

No doubt but Rowdy is the bloke I'd be moving out of the side and MCK to the bench.

Disagree Willow, this is not the game to play MCK,

to heap all the blame on him is ridiculous

Here's a thought: You buy BJ - a barnstorming free scoring Centre. You plonk him outside of Benji and in 4 games he has never received a pass from the 5/8. Sure Nofo has scored a few tries but mostly from poor defence out wide rather than scintillating backline play. Even BJ's only try thus far came from the NRL Gods who were choking back laughter as they watched us fumble yet another last tackle play option. They felt so sorry for us that they made it into the Try of The Century! However, on countback, it has been relegated to a Team Participation Award due to the standard of the Opposition. My point - Benji is not gonna be missed on the right hand edge - certainly not by BJ.

I was blowing up about the lack of ball to BJ all year, my TV doesn't respond when I say these things though

What happened to MCK "The Beast"
Was great off the bench last year

To me, Rowdy is a player that hits the line hard but to often drops the ball when it looks like he is about to break the line
MCK on the other hand Ducks and Weaves like Muhammad Ali and tries to find his way around players
Which one would be better suited to play the Raiders

I agree. I love his attitude and the manner in which he conducts himself. Has future captain written all over him.

Me as well. Love Rowdy but I can’t find a spot for him in the 17.

Still Has to prove a quality player hasn’t locked down a position yet.

Madge has certainly picked a bigger forward pack to take on the raiders big fellas. Hopefully Chee-Kam comes on later in the game when raiders are more fatigued.

And for gods sake GIVE JOEY SOME EARLY FOOTY

Holyfield over Ali vs raiders

I don’t understand the changes. We have a new spine with Doueihi and Grant, now we add JRey to the mix who hasn’t played much footy in two years. We lose Benji who according to the Dally M has been our best player. We need our spine to be functioning well and that comes with experience playing with one another.
I think our problems can traced back to our lack of go forward. Both Clark and Seyfarth have been ineffective in this area so am happy to see the inclusion of Rusty and Musgrove although how long Packer lasts given his lack of game time remains to be seen.
Jennings was abysmal last week and Mbye hasn’t shown anything since his return.
While changes had to be made, I probably would have kept the spine and moved Seyfarth, Clark, Jennings and Mbye along. With JRey coming in for Mbye and either Tommy T or Corey on the wing.

I suppose with Benji gone we now get an in site in what to expect next season .
If Brooks is the man we’ll it starts this weekend .. is the coach seeing if he has to go to the market for a 1/2 ? is
Brooks the player to run the team , this decision will need to be made as IMO the halves situation is a real problem from 2021 !
