I'm in that majority unfortunately. In our last 7 games against Canberra we're 1-6 with a F/A of -206. Hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

What happened to MCK "The Beast"
Was great off the bench last year

To me, Rowdy is a player that hits the line hard but to often drops the ball when it looks like he is about to break the line
MCK on the other hand Ducks and Weaves like Muhammad Ali and tries to find his way around players
Which one would be better suited to play the Raiders

Doesn't drop the ball half as much when the pass comes from someone other than Brooks.

The pressure is on brooks for sure but at the same time it’s up to our forwards to lay a platform for him. Raiders have a strong pack so we need to win the game in the middle of the field if we want to stand a chance.

Hopefully these new forwards that have come in are eager to impress Madge and keep their spots and they couldn’t have a harder challenge than the raiders this week. They’re the ones I’m keeping my eye on.

Media already trying to create drama about Madge dropping Benji. Some rubbish about how Benji always defends maguires coaching style and if he’s upset by being dropped he won’t do it anymore.

Tigers can’t do anything without criticism in the media can they?


Well Benji works for FOX so of course the media are going to be critical for him being dropped although it was warranted. There were 5 dropped and no one is talking about Jennings, Garner, Walters, Clark......
I am sure that Benji is mature enough to not be critical of Madge and this is another beat up story???
Benji will be back after a rest and if the other halves don't perform, as there is no i in team and he knows it being a stalwart.
Some others in the team should be worried this week as well, Mybe is one.

Firstly the other’s are not Benji they have not achieved anything like he has, secondly you thing he needs a rest after 2 games in the last 12 weeks?

Well if you view the NRL stats for 2020 he has missed 19 tackles, equal 2nd in the league. He looked tired against the titans. Benji is also Madge's favorite by dropping him sends a message to the Team nil are exempt.

I will make an early call based upon Tigers interviews seen this week, AD & Brooks took responsibility for poor performances, but Mybe did not so i won't be surprised that he is dropped for the following week if TT has a good game.

Look I have no problem with dropping any player or even getting rid of them as long as the replacements are going to strengthen us

I hope Josh absolutely takes this opportunity and slays the Raiders this week,Im sure he and Brooks can give the backs plenty of ball to play with and keep testing the raiders defense and tire them out..
Mbye is co captain and now must make the calls on the field while getting more involved with the play..
Talau is young but must take up the challenge if he is to make an impression at NRL level..

Overall Madge has made changes that were needed,its now up to these replacement players to step up and show us their worth..

What does this even mean? He’s played two games this year, one good one average. Last two years he’s been great. One average game and all of a sudden brooks is done and is out of form. Crazy stuff

Reports are that Luciano will stay on the left edge and Lawrence will play on the right. Assuming brooks will have more footy than Reynolds it’s a good move, Luciano has been one of our best attacking weapons this season so far.

Does anyone have an idea as to a specific reason why? Didn't pressure kickers? Not involved enough?

His form seemed really decent. His one on one defense massively improved.

To be honest not exactly sure why he was dropped. Could just be down to those little effort areas, it’s something I’ve heard the players mention a lot as something that Madge is big on. Hopefully he’s not out of the team too long.

Reynolds was dropped into our side for his 1st game against the Raiders a few years ago .. with the result being a 50 something flogging against us .. !! Hope he has better performance this week .. !!

I thought Garner played solidly on the weekend. Maybe not solidly enough or maybe was instructed to do something and didn't. Hopefully he's back soon.
