WESTS Tigers Team V Canberra....

The thing with MCK is he doesn't have the minutes in him. I think everyone agrees that he provides more punch per minute, but JT has been saying all year that his replacement plan is dependent on guys who can give big minutes should injuries strike.

There are only really 4 forwards who can do big minutes - Woods, Rowdy, Lovett, ET.

Grant as well.

Irrespective of the 17,my interest will be on how JT prepares the team mentally, this game should be a cracker and it will feel like semi final football to our young team,I honestly think they will go out there and give it their very best and especially if the Cowboys destroy the Titans on Saturday…this game will be a test for JT as well as the team....

All the best to our team and coach.......

Pains me to say it, but Lovett has been decent during the second half of this year. Hasn't actually done much wrong.

Your right he hasn't done much wrong and he is steady as she goes. I guess a team needs that but he ain't going to bust the game open or gain massive yards. He kinda reminds me of highington was always there but never really made big yards or broke defensive lines. Maybe I'm being harsh on highington?

Is steady as she goes going to get us past the raiders? Defence will help!

Lawrence has been great this year! I just think playing in the pack for 80mins has taken a toll on his body. The other night against Penrith, to me he looked warn as much as he was hurt??

Did not know that he played cricket.

If he did where in the order would he bat?

On and off, right? He's only played more than 60 minutes 3 times this year - 63 Rd 7, 61 Rd 16, 61 Rd 22.

Yeah I would say Grant and Ava are capable of longer minutes if required, but both would drop off in their effectiveness a lot more than Woods at 55+ minutes.

Taylor said at the start of the yr one of Grant's strengths was playing long minutes. Even if he hasn't played them consistently, he's capable if required.

Aloiai's minutes have increased over the back half of the year as well.

I just hope Lawrence is fully fit - he's looked busted the last couple of games, culminating in the shocker out at Penrith the other week.

Woods and Halatau cleared to play, Elijah taylor ruled out.

Taylor missing is a huge loss for us, will be missed as much as Teddy is especially against the Raiders pack.

We are going to miss his tackling in the middle. Who will step up to replace him?

he hasnt been ruled out at all. only in doubt

The first article had him ruled out. They have now updated and loaded the full article and he is in doubt not ruled out.

We did a great job without for 65 mins against the Cowboys. He'd be a loss, no doubt about that, but not the difference between winning and losing.

Oh well, I think with the virus running through our team, No Teddy and possibly No ET I really can't see how we win this game. Add to that Canberra have a pretty good record against us at Leichardt.

Write them off at your peril.
