Would have to be Tatola - no idea why Lovett would even be considered given his issues, not to mention all the time he's missed.
 
The first time I saw Jnr Tatola play, he was 12… had hair down to his waist in a braid.... None of us knew if he was a boy or girl.... He had to get it cut when he started high school.
Always a very tough kid to handle for his opponents... Big and fast
 
Aloiai moving to lock for Taylor has one benefit, it frees up a bench spot for a big unit. Hope Tatola kills it in first grade and gets to stay on the bench.

We might go into this game with two bench props. This is a novelty.
 
I am worried by Hunts inclusion. Is there some doubt around one of our halves or JLJ? If you take him off the bench (which will hopefully happen) then either Lovett or Edwards will play (hopefully not both)
 
Why the hell is Lovett named anywhere near our first grade team.

100% correct Happy family is by far more important than anything else hope everything turns out ok for ET.
 
There was a meet the players thing in Canberra last night - from the 19 named 17 were there. Lovett was and Tatola and Hunt weren;t.
 
Hunt would have been making way from ISP cup game. Hopefully Tatola was being shielded before his debut. Otherwise we are going in with Grant the only recognised front rower on the bench and will at times be carrying a backrow of Lovett, Lawrence and Edwards.

Quick glance at the Raiders forum and it seems there is a general view yhat our bench is very ordinary ie crap !
Gotta agree but hopefully the wet wearher may be a leveler.

Unfortunately not sure there has been a lot of wet weather in Canberra. Races there yesterday were on a good track & BOM website shows not a lot of rain in the last 24 hours
 
If Taylor has selected Lovett on the bench he's a fool. We need more size on the bench, Lovett will get chewed up by the Raiders pack.
 
Lovett has not played a game since last October. If Taylor thinks he is ready to go in against the Raiders pack he is an absolute idiot.

I wouldnt be surprised if it happens i doubt if Lovett went down to peel the oranges
