As much as I don't think MCK deserves a run, Madge clearly wants some utility value on the bench and he does cover centre and backrow. I suspect we'll see him play centre at some stage, allowing Mbye to move to 9 and give Liddle a spell.

Edit: As soon as I posted I realised if Garner was an option, that would negate the use of MCK being selected at all.

No chance mikaele is the one that gets dropped! Bloke is all impact, can’t sacrifice that of the bench! We need the meters up front.

Seriously ? Uto and Joe , are doing well for a big second stint , and Mika comes on in the 50th for 15 minutes . Yea it’s impact , but it’s not like he’s throwing guys flying , and busting heads . It seems the most expendable for a gun dummy half IMO.

If last year is any indication, I would say no. Madge is getting Simpkin and Simpkins in the 21, letting them experience game day, warming up expecting to play but only there for injury cover.
I dare said they will both get a chance in a couple weeks though. Mikaele appears to be the odd man out at the moment, and Mbye could be gone next week...

Doing it competently is another issue

god I still have conniptions remembering lovett playing at centre because we had nobody else....

Put in to perspective, there was 10 seconds to play, he was just holding down

Does the remaining 9 mins 50 seconds carry over to the next game?

I was actually joking, but being realistic it probably should now that I think about it.

I don't see Mikaele developing as many would have hoped. His size coupled with his inability to get angry in a hit up reminds me of a later stage tony williams....

yup, and once they ran around lovett a couple of times they moved lawrence there who went off for an hia after about 5 minutes so lovett went back... one of those great leichhardt oval nights

A doona covers many positions but it is what is under the doona that determines whether the right positions are a success.
