WESTS Tigers Team V Cowboys...

Aloiai plays one good game every month or two, the rest are average and often ill-disciplined.

Does that one game where he smashes through the line really blind people to all his poor games?

I don't see him as the wide running damaging player that other people see. I dont actually see any difference in quality to any of our second rowers. I'm not fussed who gets picked and who gets dropped in that position.

Looks like MWZ will take nofos wing from the captains run video, Mahe was in it quite abit aswell but nofo wasn’t seen. Possibility.

Tigers: Chris Lawrence is set to play despite a short turnaround following a concussion. Lawrence has passed all protocol testing in a big boost for the side. Russell Packer (knee) and Jacob Liddle (sternum) are also confirmed starters. Chris McQueen and Tyson Gamble were dropped off the reserves bench 24 hours out from kick-off.

Good to see Josh Reynolds running around …Kevvy MIA as well...

Really don't like the idea of Fonua at centre. Slow, poor lateral movement, not a great passer. He's there to do the hitups coming out of our end. If he's at centre he won't even do kick returns.

We need to sign some centres Ivan!!

benji must do his pregame preparartion
i must not kick pointlessly
i must not kick pointlessly
i must not kick pointlessly

say it three times and its learnt, benji.

I'm prepared to give him a go, haven't seen him play centres for many years. But your point is noted, at left centre he is marking Ben Hampton, who is all about speed.

Re hitups however no reason why he can't get back and take the second or third tackles. Actually for mine that is possibly preferable, as Fonua isn't a great kick defender (speed and height) and in attack he might actually be better getting earlier ball further in-field. E.g. I compare him to players like Kata, Hurrell - the really barrel-bodied power centres.

Did we sign Malakai's brother

"THE Wests Tigers will slightly re-shuffle their backline on Thursday night with centre Kevin Naiqama ruled out of the Leichhardt Oval clash against North Queensland.
Naiqama’s absence will mean Mahe Fonua moves to left centre and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak comes into the Tigers starting side to play on the left wing."
