Can anyone see Talau getting a run if Mbye and BJ stay fit all year?

Probably will get a shot at left wing. Neither Thompson or Jennings are fantastic options there and Andrew Webster mentioned they might ease Talau in on the wing.

Have watched plenty of Talau and while he has the size he is not a winger and definitely not on the left edge. His great strength is to attract several players and unload.

Right centre is his spot and we'll just have to get in the market to find a decent winger for 2021. Not a big fan of Jennings - like Nofo but he has to reduce his error rate. Not sure if he was down in confidence but a player with his experience should have performed better against the Knights.

We need a tall, fast winger who can catch and tackle - not asking for much I know......

You are right, he is not a winger and shouldn't be played there, he is 5/8th, just a shame there is no CC to give him a run there, as we need a 6 for next year, preferably a proven one

If Gallen and Luke Lewis offered to play I'd snap them up in a heart beat for the Warriors , exactly the sort of players the Warriors need

To be fair sharks were one of the worst teams in the comp for a good while there. Since they got good they’ve not lost to us in years.

I assume that some of those selected have probably got the nod for their dedication during the shutdown and turned back up in the best shape having exceeded the goals set by the coaching staff, as a couple surprised me by being selected over others.

Still, can't complain about that, as there should always be rewards for one's toil. Just a bit worried about such an inexperienced pack in circumstances of both changed refereeing and rules, thus trusting that the Alex's are up for their relative roles within the side. Hopefully the selections will suit the new ruck rules.

I feel like Chee-Kam should be given a spot on the bench. Game looks much faster now with the rule change, I suspect more mobile forwards will have a much bigger impact than big props.

Worried that Aloiai and Mikaele will gas quickly and we take a serious pounding towards the end of the game.
