Wests Tigers Team v Cronulla

If Farah does play, who makes way out of the 17? Grub?

Presumably so, which is a shame as he's been adding a bit of spark, particularly late in the games. I like Farah but he shouldn't play, there is no way he'd be 100% fit and we've been rolling along really nicely as is. The only change imo should be Mbye back in the side.

Take note that nobody is really taking about the fact our captain is out, we haven't missed a beat without Mbye there, in fact I think we've improved.

He's the forgotten man and he's supposedly our captain

Does having Robbie on the bench really help us? If the game is tight and Reynolds and Benji are doing well what happens if Robbie doesn't even get a run? There'd be an uproar. But there have been games where the bench hooker hasn't played this season.

We'll find out the decision shortly. I'm sure the players all know what the lineup on Sunday is. Someone who's pissed at missing out will probably leak something.

ET makes way, Grub on bench.

Reckon that would be a huge mistake, as Elijah has held our middle together for the past month, getting through a mountain of work in all aspects and particularly the one percentage plays.

@balmain-boy If Farah plays he starts.

Don't think there's any point starting him on the bench.

Agreed that ET doesn't deserved to be dropped, no one really does. Not sure I want Farah back with the momentum the current team has going.

Jennings does.

@Russell clearly referencing where to fit Farah mate, unless you are suggesting we play him on the wing?

Can't help myself - apologies.

The Sharks are confident Matt Moylan, Shaun Johnson and Josh Dugan will all play in Cronulla's winner-take-all clash with Wests Tigers on Sunday.

Pretty sure Johnson and Moylan will miss out... even if they did come in there’s simply no chemistry in that side - even Xerri sometimes struggling to get quick, quality ball when he wants it.

Couple Woods and Gallen’s weekly brainsnap and even maybe Dugan getting struck down in the warm-up by the Old Girl’s enchanted and hallowed turf... really will be surprised if they throw Moylan back in to the ‘sharks’

Robbie has already had two farewell/match landmark celebrations. Benji will only have one whilst Lawrence who is a chance to retire will not have any. Do you think that Robbie is biting off too much?

The Wests Tigers have been dealt a huge blow leading into the club’s biggest game in almost a decade, with skipper Moses Mbye ruled out for Sunday’s blockbuster against Cronulla.

NRL.com understands Mbye has been scratched for the do-or-die fixture against the Sharks, struggling to get through the week of training as he aims to return from a hip injury.

The Tigers are yet to officially rule Mbye out of the game.

The Queensland State of Origin representative has been racing the clock to play, however failed to prove himself at a closed session at Leichhardt Oval on Thursday.

Retiring hooker Robbie Farah is remarkably on track to return from a broken leg he suffered at ANZ Stadium just 26 days ago.

Farah has pulled up well after every session he’s been asked to fulfil this week, with his chances of playing in the match increasing with every day.

Tigers coach Michael Maguire met with Farah on Thursday and will front the media on Friday morning to provide an update on the hooker’s chances of playing.

NRL.com understands Farah is poised to defy the odds and take part in the match, as long as he can get through captain’s run on Saturday.

The Sharks have their own injury concerns, with Shaun Johnson and Matt Moylan likely to take the field underdone in a desperate bid to keep their season alive.
