Good team can't fault it at all. Hopefully they give it a red hot crack and hopefully a decent crowd at Campbo

Another Tom Raudonikis remembrance day hope the team understand the importance of the day and TURN UP

Playing at CS with a dedication to Tommy day.
Hope they play the boos from LO as they walk into the changeroom before the game to fire them up.

Big Tino is back for the Titans will make a massive difference for them as well.

I think we'll get no complaints re this squad. Interesting to see Esan Masters in the extended team for Titans. I didn't even know he transferred there from Cows.

He's pretty hopeless. But no media coverage on "how we let *him* go", of course..

Oh well. Another Tommy commemoration game down the toilet,

Gold Coast will target the weak link known as Mbye.

Game over before it starts.

Mbye is a good defender mate . If anything we just got better defensively , and sacrifice our attack. Put him next to Cini , and AD , and that’s a stronger defensive structure there .

Brooks covering for Joey with Garner on the inside , and Luci next to AD , Mbye covering for Cini.
I actually like it .
If it works , it might be hard for Roberts and and TalU to get a run in a few weeks

I see that posted here often.

Unfortunately for the team it isn't true.

He was consistently one of the worst defenders all last year. Statistically he was a horror show. His "good defence" is a forum myth.

Gold Coast will run around him, through him and over him.

Mbye was one of our best backline defenders last year.

Sorry, but saying that doesn't make it true.
If only it did for the team's sake.
They'll need a traffic cop to control the flow of players exploiting his weaknesses.

I can only pray that it's a clever ruse by Madge to mess with their heads before he's benched when the final team is named.

They'll be wearing magpies jerseys this week right? That's what Western Suburbs Magpies have been saying on social media

I honestly don't get the hate for Mybe this year - I think he has made a positive difference when he has come off the bench. Made two one on one critical tackles that got us out of trouble last weekend. He deserves his selection.

Sorry mate but he's been a massive momentum killer this year. (At hooker mind you) and his short spell at centre vs Newcastle was diabolical.

In saying that I think selecting him at centre this week with our current availability is pretty much the only decision available and I hope that he has a cracker.

I think where we will gain is not having him come on at Hooker and destroy any momentum we have through his very slow and very poor distribution. I think Liddle off the bench will be a bonus

He got schooled by Brian Kelly last year ... the same guy he’s marking up against this game

Apparently he played with some niggling injury though so let’s see. I’d rather him there than MCK Atleast

Yeah think so. It will feature as a tribute to the late Tommy Raudonikis OAM.

No surprises. Blore will replace Seyfarth eventually.

I’m not so sure. Hope he or Amone replaces Seyfarth.

Madge does like the a 3 prop rotation though.

I think if Blore plays Garner misses out.

Amone would be better suited as Seyfarths replacement - more an impact punch runner player.

Having Blore, Amone and Musgrove on the extended bench shows we have some forward depth which we have never had really before especially in the front row. Now we have 3 backrowers, several props. Joe I think could solve the lock role if he has Brooks/Laurie /Lids/Simpkin running off his hip - he is real offload threat.

Nice change for once.

I’m a Zane Musgrove fan and I like the agression
In his carries but geez his defence has let him down recently.
I checked the stats from the lower grades, whilst he ran well his tackle efficiency was really poor.

I know he is a big man but he needs to work on agility and mobility to survive in first grade, especially the speed the game is played nowadays.

Did you have to mention any sort of celebration or remembrance day in front of our players seems to bring on panic attacks

I didn't see it that way at all- I think we dominated St George the entire time he was on. Don't attribute that to him alone, but certainly didn't see our momentum being hampered. If anything I think Simpkins needed a rest and felt much better having Mybe defend in the middle.

It’s there last chance to redeem themselves as they’ll be no third chance

Defensively he’s far better than Talau, Leilua and Nofo.

Can't win an NRL game with Mbye in the centres.

Have we ever won with him in the centres?

I'd rather see Packer play there.

We only won 7 games last year, 5 of those (Rds 3, 6, 7, 10, 14) Mbye was in the centres, he scored tries in three of those five.........but otherwise a pretty convincing point of view.
