WESTS Tigers Team V Knights..

JJ will be in the 17 - he's the 4th prop. MCK and Lovett will be fighting it out for the bench second row spot, unless MCK comes into the side to replace a back line injury.
 
Good to finally see Ballin, played very well last week by all accounts and should inspire others with his professionalism. ET was great last week and think we could see him lift again after a match and a few more training sessions under the belt. Still think the side will change a bit with rumours re Teddy and MCK in the wings.

Thanks for sharing Tony. Teddy definitely is our champion isn't he!! Just hope he isn't rushed back into the team. If we need Teddy to beat the Kinghts then we have real problems!!

No point losing him for more games if he gets reinjured.

In all honesty we need Teddy more against the Brisbane game, surely the other lot are half competent to beat the struggling knights.. Surely, right ?

First of all, I disagree with a member above who said Ava should come off the bench. This is because we need punch at the start of the game and he provides it. Also, Paws and Claws, it's a total mystery why Siro was chosen for City because his form certainly didn't warrant it. He makes very little impact in attack or defense and, really, he's just an expensive passenger who has nowhere near realized his supposed potential. Regarding the team - NO surprises that there are NO changes. It's beyond the joke. Is Taylor trying to establish a record for most games not making changes in the face of miserable performances? What a total buffoon!
 
No changes…well,well,well...just illustrates how clueless our coach is and how gutless the board is for allowing this no accountability culture of JT's to continue without reprisals.
 
We need some strong defenders in the backline. At the start of th season Kev was making heaps of metres in attack and defending quite well. Now he is off his game he should go back to SC to regain his form. Time for MCK to be given a chance
 
Kev has no confidence in Moses defence which causes him to rush in followed by Nofo.Both these outside backs have a habit of rushing in,i would be punting both if we are persisting with Moses.

Did Kev tell you this?? If you watch replays of kevs misreads in defence he's not rushing in to help Moses out he's actually rushing out of the line to stop the ball getting outside him… I know Moses isn't a great defender but to blame Moses poor defense for kevs poor defensive reads is a bit harsh.
 
Been away since game day so have not visited the forum, but people are kidding if they think Kev is rushing out of line because of the players inside. Kev is rushing out of the line because defensively he has no idea. As I said to my mate, he is great in the early season games that basically are a hybrid game of touch, but once the grind sets in he shows to me that he is a reserve grader
 
Yeah given how he have been defending out wide all Newcastle really need to do is keeping swinging from side to side putting it through the hands and we'll probably leak a mountain of points. The up and in style clearly isn't working, probably because some are sliding and some are jamming in and it's all just a bloody big mess.

I think Sironen needed to be dropped because at the very least a message needed to be sent that he's not a protected species, but if I were coaching and watching some of these guys going rogue in defence they'd have been higher on the sacking list than Sironen at this point in time. Play to the structure or go back to reserve grade, simple.
