WESTS Tigers Team V Melbourne..

Given the upheaval over the last couple of days, give us your side.

Easy to sit on the sideline and take potshots. No one in the reserve grade or under 23's have put their hand up for inclusion.

Maybe you know more than I.

It's absolutely bucketing down in Sydney today. I'm hoping it will be the same on Sunday at LO & the boys come out & put all this BS behind them by thumping the storm (see what I did there).

Fire up lads!!

How ironic. Old coach punted because he always played his little 'favourites', but new coach there and the same players are there.

Sure, its only been 24 hours and it will be interesting to see what runs out.

Maybe, just maybe, that's all we have to play with…....

didnt really expect any different, webster wasnt going to drop 5 players after being in the job 24 hours. in saying that hoping we arent 1-17 on sunday.

Given the short turn around with Websters appointment, he has left the side as is and to a certain extent given everyone an opportunity to put their best performance forward against Melb

But I wouldn't be surprised if the rubbish continues that a few heads may roll in coming weeks.

Interesting times as WT.

To expect a caretaker coach to completely re jig the team 24hrs after Taylor was unexpectedly marched is ridiculous. An even keel is what will be expected from him for the moment.

I would imagine the riot act has been presented to this group of players ,expect a marked improvement .

If there is a marked improvement then they should be read the riot act again for dishing up that dross in the first place when they were clearly capable of better.

I agree, but the CEO did say he didnt want the club continue to "drift". Changing nothing ensures the same outcome.

Where is Jacob Liddle these days ?

1st game back in ISP this weekend after a Shoulder injury in Pre-season…

Thx

Will be interesting to see who Cleary rates and who's going to join JT at Centrelink in the future

I suspect a lot of players will join JT unless they improve dramatically.

If there's anything I've learned over the last 1 to 2 years on this forum it's that there's nothing more monotinious than reading the same complaints from the same people week in week out. So looks like we'll just have to grin and bare Curly Naiqama till the end of the year. Unless Idris gets fit and takes his place beforehand.

Nailed it. No way Webster is looking at this as his time to shine, I'm sure he's aware that we're looking elsewhere. Doesn't have time to implement systems, doesn't have the luxury of re-assessing the roster, the bloke just has to front up to press conferences and explain our deficiencies. It's a shame because by all reports he can coach, I just hope he's given somewhat of a mandate for team selections and we see some changes if not on the weekend then next round.

As expected given that Webster has only been in charge 24hours. Hopefully a few changes between now and Sunday. At least Rankin isn't there

To put it in perspective Webster has not even had a training session with them.

I would say he just said - put the same team out.

Might be one or two changes on Sunday but I would not expect massive ones.

I think he will be banking on a reaction from the blokes that got pumped on Sunday

No such thing as a riot act for our precious little darlings….they wouldn't like that.
It would of been "well done fellas we know you tried hard last week but JT wouldn't let you play the way you wanted, sorry about that". Heartily sick of seeing our team lack effort, pride and guts. Time for the playing group to grow some nads and show some pride for God's sake.
Honestly, apart from the Cowboys game last season think about the last time any of us could really say " geez I'm proud to be a WT supporter today". It's extremely few and far between.

I think we were all banking on a reaction last Sunday from the blokes who got pumped the Sunday before that. Alas…........
Wash,rinse,repeat. The WT way!
