WESTS Tigers Team V Melbourne..

I think we were all banking on a reaction last Sunday from the blokes who got pumped the Sunday before that. Alas…........
Wash,rinse,repeat. The WT way!

We have a bloody top 25 that can't change!!! How many changes would you expect? Swap out the whole team for the reserve grade team that's been getting pumped also? Anyone expecting ANY changes to either roster or game plan this season are dreaming. Webster is in part responsible for current team performance. The only thing that might change is attitude.

Fair to say the whole team is on notice this week. Will be interesting to see what sort of effort they put in.

Actually tempted to throw a sneaky lobster on us H2H.

Don't know how Edwards kept his spot, he was rubbish last week, would have preferred Lovett, he got through more work in defence but we should have Tatola or Felise on the bench.

I'm really concerned about what seems to be repeatedly happening after about the 25 minute mark when we go to the bench. I'd like to see Sue pushed up front, with Aloiai coming into the backrow and Seumanafagia dropping back to the bench. Sue has pretty handy footwork and would add some pace around the ruck and hopefully some quick play the balls, whilst having Grant and Seumanafagia coming off the bench would leave us with a combination of size and experience after 30 minutes when we make some changes.

I'm not sure if Mcilwrick can go for 80, but we'll struggle if we continue to carry a hooker/utility on the bench for the remainder of the season. We really need another big unit on the bench, either Felise or Tatola for me.

To put it in perspective Webster has not even had a training session with them.

I would say he just said - put the same team out.

Might be one or two changes on Sunday but I would not expect massive ones.

I was hoping for a reaction from our blokes after round 2

Well said,

We definetly can't keep having a bench utility and hopefully Liddle can be playing the 80 week in week out.

I would rather start with Ava and then bring Sue on for some impact, especially since we have leaked points right before half-time in the last 2 games.

Hopefully though we can eventually have Paseka in the team instead of Grant but only when Paseka is up to FG level.

After the performance from last Sunday i think we need to find a replacement for Lawrence. Hopefully it is JJ or Tatola.

Hopefully by the end of the season:

8\. Woods
9\. Liddle
10\. Ava
11\. JJ Felise
12\. Tatola
13\. ET

14\. Paseka
15\. Sue
16\. Marsters
17\. MCK/Lawrence/Sironen

LOL…lemmee get some popcorn
Good to see ballin there

Don't be late, or you'll miss his 5 minutes. Lol

That's poor mate.

I hope Ballin has a great game, will be great to see him on the field again after his injury troubles. We all know why he was brought here but he's entitled to see out his career the way he wants.

Probably has given last weeks mob their chance to at least partially redeem themselves. He'd be stupid to walk in and start to throw his weight around on day one.
be interesting to see what he can do with the rabble. The bounce may come this weekend
.I never thought I'd back them before the 10th Ro und was over. But I wouldn't be surprised if we win. It's worth $10.

Gone are the days when a player has a bad game and gets punted to the reserves the following week.

These days you could play drunk like Kev,Brooks and Rowdy and still be guaranteed a spot the following week

Also as a passionate fan it p/$$es me off when we get belted by 40 and players are having a giggle/laugh/cracking jokes at the end of the game

It was a joke Joice. Hence the lol.
I want him fit too. We need some value from our money
Dunno why some are so precious over an ex sea eagle who's seen most of his time here from outside the playing area.

I figured you were joking, just didn't find it funny.

I wouldn't say I'm precious about him, I think he can add value. If we're to salvage anything from the year I think Ballin will go a long way to making it happen. He's been hideously unlucky with injuries.

I cant for the life of me understand the support given to Ballin. Happy to credit him when and if he actually does something, but he seems to have a free pass with some.
My view is he is no more entitled to anything at this club until he actually contributes something. Lets hope that happens soon.

Ballin isn't the answer CB. We will need a hellava lot more than his skills to salvage anything from this season.

He has support because he's a always been a competitor and has always conducted himself well on and off the field, even in the face of being screwed over by his former club. Some of us respect him for that and don't feel the need to slag him off for things have happened that are beyond his control (injuries) or the circumstances in which he came here (which was incidentally another situation he handled with dignity). Not sure what you mean by people thinking he's entitled to anything or gets a free pass…

I didn't say he was the answer in entirety, plenty of other factors at play, y'know, halves being able to draw and pass at the line properly, a decent kicking game, a sound defensive structure, not switching off at 30 minutes.

We could certainly do with him in the side though.

Never suggested slagging him off and never would - I am looking at him purely as a contracted player in our top 25 and to this point he has given us no service and it seems there are plenty who dont have a problem with that.
For a club with massive depth issues yes I do think he gets a free pass on here by many.

He's more use to us on the field than off it, I want him fit and playing well. Same as Liddle. I don't see that as a free pass, moreso just wanting the best players in the top 25 out on the pitch for us, and I believe Ballin to be one of those.
