Wests Tigers Team v Penrith Official

You can't make too many changes to soon... The coach must show some faith in the players for Christ's sake we still got 2/3rds of a season to go... Madge has shown he doesn't cop bludgers and has swung the axe before.
Mass Changes now just shows panic... Pointless!

Congrats to Ollie

@innsaneink How much faith is enough faith, Ink.

Mbye - one good game from the season so far.

Masters - one good game from the season so far.

Jennings - no good games from the season so far.

Ok - too many changes would be unsettling - but at least one of the above should have been dropped this week.

@shakey4d

Like other coaches Madge has been in this situation before with teams he coached. But I think that he follows pretty closely the old, wise coaches saying that “the only place that success comes before work is in the dictionary”. And this squad better get used to that. And those that don’t will not be with us come 2020 season.

However I don’t see too many Coaches give up on and make drastic changes to their core team structures this early in the season no matter how poorly the team is performing.

Send Marsters to reggies, and bring in who? Momirovski? Like that's going to fix anything... We'll have no kicker and nothing in attack by then. And then we've got others calling for Brooks out... Let me guess, Gamble would be better, right?

Going to be enough forced changes you'd think

Surprised we came out so early and ruled Aloiai out .....thought they'd try and keep Cleary guessing

Good to see you are ok with sticking with the same players who have been absolutely humiliated 2 of the last 3 weeks.

Not one change other than a forced one due to injury. that isnt avoiding mass changes that is rewarding poor performances.

No not really.....they were flogged against Parra and redeemed themselves the following week by beating the Titans..came off 2 loses and beat the Broncos at Suncorp in arguably their best performance off the season...

You said in another post what's the worst that can happen if we make mass changes..is lose..well yes as...what's the best that can happen is Maguire showing faith in the best his got and and letting them know that..

Only a matter of time before people start turning on Maguire. He really needs to understand this club and understand it fast. The fans have had enough of players not being accountable for poor performances.

Picking Clark solves absolutely nothing.

What changes would you have made?

We have been humiliated two out of the last three games. Id make a lot more changes than just replacing an injured forward with another forward.

Maguire is trying to show faith in the playing group, trouble is we have all seen these guys and unless you hold them accountable they are the most inconsistent team in the competition.

The coach will learn.. . .

Fair enough. So what changes would you have made?

You haven't made any point at all. I agree there are many players that are on thin ice but there needs to be the players to replace them with in the first place. I'm not sure if you've watched any CC games but there aren't any players there worthy of a promotion.

Basically, you're very angry with Maguire for not making changes but you have no idea what changes should be made.

Can't argue with you Russell... Those you mentioned have been very poor

Could not agree more Russ, this mob have proven they can't cop a spray and lift their game for more than 1 week, I am with you, they need to send them a message, go shake hands with hodgo should be the message

You'd have to think if we see another performance like we showed against the roosters this weekend then there's have to be some axings.... It's one thing to be lapped by the premiers it's another story against struggling penrtith

Momo and Gamble both goal kick

@851 Momo and Gamble aren't as good as Marsters and Brooks. Not even close. One plays for the NZ test side and is the only x-factor player in our team, the other was Dally M Halfback of the Year and has been decent so far. Make of it what you will
