The season is shot.

Despite the negativity towards Benji on this forum, I reckon he is still a fan favourite. There is nothing to be gained by dropping him. I reckon most Tiger's fans would like to see him play his career out in first grade.

Without reserve grade games behind him the risk of introducing Madden this year is too great, and in any event you would be reluctant to drop him in against this opposition.

Although I respect the guy, I agree with the comments that JR should be shelved and encouraged to move on.

At this stage of the game it is understandable to allow Benji to play out the season. But it should be his last.

Yeah, i t doesn't really bother me now the season is gone.
Packer on the otherhand, thank God he's gone. I don't understand how he got a run at all this year.

After reading the 8 pages of this thread it seems I’m in the minority. I think that considering current realistic prospects and options this is the best 17 we could pick. Maybe a case for McIntyre, but I thought ET added some enthusiasm and starch in D that was lacking from others last week.
As for Benjis inclusion, his D is a huge problem but without him I wonder where the points will come from, and please dont say JR. Furthermore I think JR’s D is as bad as Benjis.
Looking forward to see Harry and Lids working and wouldn’t be surprised if they are both on at some point with Harry playing as a lock.
