I think Liddle will be used late in the game to try and catch out some tired forwards.

A week too late, as he needed to replace a tired player on Thursday. If he only plays limited minutes again, for mine he will be underdone, having only played a few games and will need a full match in reserves to get some more fitness.

He was being a bit too much Tarzan. As a result he nearly killed his team and their supporters.

@Jimmy I assumed that Eisenhuth came off for Aloiai at lock. Not sure Aloiai comes on as a prop. Plus, Matterson only played at lock against Melbourne and MCK on the right due to an injury in the rotation

I think Jimmy is probably on the money with how that bench will be used - Aloiai in the prop rotation and Matterson to play some minutes in the middle when MCK comes on. I like seeing Matterson get some minutes in the middle because he's quite capable of creating something there.

Matterson has been playing in the middle towards the end of games quite a couple of times actually....Madge usually switches aloia or the huth to a prop when this happens. You can tell by both McQueen MCK still being on the field...and also both masters and Jennings/fonu in the centres meaning MCK is definitely playing second row

Canterbury Cup Team lists aren't really worth the paper they are printed from..they can and do change up to 1 hr before kick off game day..there is no requirement to be named on the Tuesday in the squad to be able to play like the NRL...

He may well line up with the other reserves dropped off the FG Team

The stats dont really reflect that opinion.

You kind of have a point with Marsters. He has one less line break. A slightly better tackle % but has 3 less errors than Mahe .Jennings on the other hand while having a similar amount of errors has a very good tackle % and only one less line break than Mahe. this with with 20 less runs.

Anyhow none of these guys are setting the world on fire. They will be removed from the team if it keeps up as well.

Yep, not much between any of them. But I just think the much talked about errors in Mahe's game is over exaggerated. 11 errors in 10 games isnt a huge amount and i'm willing to cop that amount as he makes more metres than anyone else in the team.
