I actually think its a good team. Idris was good in NSW cup last week and played 80 mins and will improve ur edge defence.

I'm really happy we have gone back to Aloia on the right and Sue as a bench prop. Chee-Kam on the bench gives great flexibility in playing backrow or covering the outside backs meaning wider injury cover.

Brooks being with the injury is dissapointing especially as he was good last week when he was on.

Ballin coming in over Liddle is a interesting one but if it means Liddle builds up his game time and fitness for a couple of weeks I suppose but id have put Ballin in reserves to do that
 
I think we're still a bit weak but this team selection is on the right track. Not playing Sue in the back row and not playing chee kam in the centres is a good start.
 
Idris won't have improved enough after one week in reggies to go from passenger to serious game starting contributor… The bench rotation when he goes off will be interesting to say the least. I doubt he's got 80 in him yet
 
I think it's a really good team too. Dunno if that ink bloke has seen us play this year or not

Chee Kam isn't a centre so it only makes sense he is on the bench as a utility/back up just in case

If we can get a full 80 out of Idris then nice, if not CK is there just in case

Liddle is the future but Ballin is the more experienced one now so not much should be lost in the middle when he comes on

I really hoped Sue would work in the edges but he just isn't up to scratch so in the prop rotation he goes as impact

I'd imagine Aloiai comes off at some stage and is replaced by Chee Kam so effectively we are playing with 3 props off the bench still
 
I'd be happier if Hunt come in for Naquima….but I can dream I suppose. But I'm OK with the team especially with Sue on the bench move.
 
I dislike having 2 number 9's. just a waste of a bench spot if you ask me. Would like one more big bopper on bench instead or hooker.
 
You wanted a Brooks-free team, you have a Brooks-free team.

God help us if JLJ plays like a busted!

We can't do it unfortunately, don't have an 80 minute hooker so someone needs to come in. I'd rather that than a makeshift hooker like we had for a period last year.
 
Only having 2 Props on the Bench has costed us the last 3 weeks… If you switch Ballin & McIilwrick around, Ballin can come off after 25min and become a back-up for the backrow if required. McIilwrick plays out the game at DH and we gain another Prop on the Bench.

If Idris blows, Rowdy goes there?!
 
It would be so nice to be Chris Lawrence. To know that every week your position in the starting lineup would be safe regardless of your individual performance. What a life.

Brooks is missing :wahoo: sign with the Bulldogs or Mounties while your at it .

Tbh having Chee Kam on the bench is sort of like having 3 props. I imagine he replaces Aloiai at some point then Aloiai comes into the bench rotation
