Im not sure if anyone agrees with me but i liked ET coming off the Bench last week
The extra ball player and he didnt get burnt out making tackle after tackle ..

I liked it. Quality over quantity. Will be interesting to see what Cleary does with him. In all of ET's time under Cleary at the Warriors and Penrith he played in the back row.

IF Cleary signs. I hope you're right but until the deal is done I'm not counting my chickens

That's a poor bench. We needed at least another prop like JJ there. I feel that when Woods and co come off at around the 30min mark we're going to get obliterated. Wish we'd signed Paul Vaughan

Fair enough, but they have proven in ISP that they are fit and are up to FG standard.

The bench isn't what I would pick either. I still believe in 80 min hookers and a bench of two props, two backrowers. However, the orthodoxy today is against such an approach as can be seen from the teams selected this week.

So out of the teams already played this week, only the Dogs, Brisbane, the Eels and the Storm do not have a "triangle" player on their bench. The Dogs have always, under Hasler, gone for bigger is better. Brisbane have an established hooker that plays 80 mins. The Storm often do have a triangle player on their bench.

Surprisingly, some of the benches appear lighter (the Sharks) or as light (Manly, Knights, Souths, Cowboys, Roosters) as ours.

ballin or liddle on the bench is fine but you need big guys on the bench and sue and cheekam has to be some sort of joke
sue goes missing so much and chee kam is a reserve football who isnt even young anymore so theres just no point in having him out there
