WESTS Tigers Team V Warriors...

Killa would be the obvious in as well I would have thought.

It's probably now Fonua's Wing now to lose, although MWZ for Nofo wouldn't go astray - he had a rocks/diamonds performance against the eels..

Poor Lolo. If someone had told me Thompson would be keeping LOLO out of the team 3 months ago, I would have laughed my ass off.

Gamble would also not let anyone down, but who do you drop for him? and Reynolds will be back eventually- Marshall is slowly but surely going back to his old tricks over the last couple of games, where brooks is keeping his head above water just nicely.

Take Nofa out for MWZ and move Fonua to the right wing and MWZ to the left and take out Godinet for Mcllwrick and i'm happy.

Agree with all of that.
Can't believe Nofo has held his spot, got a feeling that decision might end up biting Cleary on the rump.

So Pita goes off, Taylor goes to rake, Eiso goes to lock and Twal comes on for Eiso at prop?

Or MCK just goes to lock when Taylor goes to 9?

i dont think lock or prop matters.

3 forwards in the middle + hooker
two forwards on the edges
halves
centres and wingers

defensive structure or attack wouldn't change much

I'm guessing MWZ is still injured? Surely that is the ONLY way Nofo has kept his spot. He has been a total liability in defense AND ineffective in attack in our last 2 losses - there has to be a better way. And McIllwrick has to come in for Godinet surely? He can tackle and is safe, you know he won't do stupid things that will lead to the opposition scoring tries.

Please Ivan, we want to win this week!

Watene-Zelezniak warmed up as 18th man on Sunday…trained all week as well

The Fan favourite there again :roll ,when you pay someone top dollar you have to use them!

Odd McQueen is on a heap more than Rochow and Nofo…Lolohea way more than Thompson too..

Maybe Ivan's lost it..?

i thought grant was our best prop against the eels

He made some good hit-ups but I thought his line speed and positional play in defence were pretty ordinary. Parramatta got a bit of a roll on by targeting our A defender. Can’t say Sue was much better. They’re both a long way behind Twal.

Let’s be fair now.
One of the Tries Nofo was at fault directly for not jumping.
However, he was never going to outleap french from a standing start.
How do we know he wasn’t looking directly into the lights when he was trying to mark that ball. His awareness in that situation was poor but what about the awareness of the centre and five eight in providing a voice?
Masters for all his greatness in attack is a quality player but still shy 30 games and not accustomed to the centre role. Benji with his frame is very much in the mould of Moses and Maloney in that they need to hit first or they will be beaten every time.
So all that said having a five eight that plays up and in in defence and centre that is still only learning the game is it any wonder that nofo looks like a dear in headlights.
Oh by the way MWZ got beaten with exactly the same play last week.
And what was Benji doing having a breather on the wing in the penalty? Why wasn’t he in the position of nofo?
Finally the forward pass to Ma’u was a major blow, by Ma’u receiving a forward pass he was already over the Avantage line when Marshall was meeting him. Marshall looked like he went for the ball and not the man so he ended up missing out there.
If that pass wasn’t thrown forward Ma’u would have caught that ball a second later meaning we would have had more time to effect the tackle.
Unfortunately the refs didn’t pull that up.

If that's the case, he needs to be back in there.

Can’t believe Godinet is our first choice hooker, even with Liddle injured. Offers nothing in attack and poor in defence.
Sue is another log.
Grant is solid and surely Felise offers more. We need to fill those last positions in the top 30, but am not sure that makes a difference when players out of form or lacking ability keep getting selected
