Can't believe I am saying this but I hope Woods gets through origin unscathed, we're seriously low on quality forwards.

I agree….to some extent. Kev's been performing much better for the Tigers than Tedesco. Kev can actually pass. Though you can't deny Teddy a spot in the team.

While I agree somewhat in principle, McIlwrick offers more than both Edwards and MCK, they'd be my first targets. That said, I still think the balance between Liddle and McIlwrick is off.

Agree. Problem is neither Liddle or MM look capable of 80 minutes of quality footy so unfortunately we are having to use both. IMO MM should be our hooker this year with perhaps Elijah filling in when MM needs a breather. Play Liddle in ISP for the last few months to get him used to knocking out 80 mins unrested and get him ready to be our 80 min hooker in 2018.
Twal looked impressive on debut, he deserves another crack this weekend.

i dont think Joel Edwards will be dropped, he can play a lot of mins and i think Cleary is looking to his other 3 players to play a lot of mins as MM will get little mins only
 
I hate to say this but Twal may just be there in case Woods doesn't play. Same as MWZ for Tedesco. I hope I'm wrong and Twal comes in for MCK or Edwards.
 
Surely Twal has to come in for Edwards…You'd like to think commonsense would occasionally prevail...

Yes, but I don't think the comments made could be proven wrong considering he said: "Woods' style works at club level." If anything, it will provide validity to what Lazarus said - therefore he should play terrible! That'll show him! haha

The thing with Lazarus' comments is he singled one player out when close to the entire team played poorly. Woods played poorly but should be extended the professional courtesy of being counselled in private.
