I've seen a similar thread on a soccer forum with transfers and thought I'd pinch the idea and apply it to our club. This is to keep tabs on interest rumoured, officially confirmed and what eventually happens.
\
\
Please post anyone I've missed or new to the rumour circle and I will add them to the list.

This will be a way of seeing where these rumours land at season's end. Those signed in bold obviously are confirmed.
\
\
**Incoming:**

1\. Adam Blair (Melbourne) - On going rumour/saga. Strong rumour at that. Supporters divided on this signing. Some happy to see such quality added to the team whilst others are fuming at players being let go to make this happen.

2\. Josh Dugan (Canberra) - Kind of weak rumour. Recently mentioned in the Daily Telegraph (refer to Friday's paper). Linked to us and the Roosters.

3\. Ryan Cross (NSW Waratahs) Weak rumour. Speculation made on forum that he'll take some day job, perhaps orange peeler or operating the scoreboard at LO. Wouldn't read much into this one…

4\. Joel Reddy (Parramatta) Weak rumour. Speculation made on forum that he's checked out Concord, attracted to the fact that Laziko's kebabs is 5 minutes up the road...

5\. Daniel Vidot (Canberra) Rumour. Speculation made on radio station 2SM. Apparently being courted by Tigers and Sharks.

** Note: Not many linked at the moment, strongest being Blair coming to us. **
\
\
**Outgoing**

1\. Chris Heighington - :wtf Fantastic player, don't understand this one but it's a strong rumour that he is off. Papers have picked up on it and everyone seems to believe he's goneskies.

2\. Robert Lui - Back to QLD with Brisbane his rumoured destination.

3\. Beau Ryan - Rumour started on Game Plan by Joel Caine. Penrith rumoured destination.

4\. Geoff Daniella - Where is he off to?

**Confirmed already**

1\. Bryce Gibbs - Cronulla

2\. Andrew Fifita - Cronulla

3\. Tim Moltzen - St. George/ Illawarra

5\. Todd Payten - Retirement

6\. Wade McKinnon - United Kingdom

7\. Taniela Tuiaki - Forced retirement due to injury

Lui isn't leaving.

Damn I woke up hoping to find some good news on here today.

Any signing news you can update us on Willow?

Not really. If the Dugan rumour proves to be false, and it would seem this way at the moment, then I think this may catapult Mitch Brown into the fullback position for next season.

Wasn't there a rumour about a Cronk , Slater package deal or was it a tongue in cheek comment that I just missread.

Tongue-in cheek.

Scorecard/Table updated - July 10, 2011

Is there any chance of making this thread a sticky as a thread for transfer reference?

read todays paper … benji to fullback ......sirro and miller in the halves in the future .....looks like humptys policy is to lean on the under 20s we have coming through ....could be a couple of lean years for the club....we will definately need to be patient .....

Why would any one want to put one of the World's best playmakers to fullback during the peak of his career?? Benji is not in his twighlight years yet. The only reason for this would be to blood the young juniors as succession planning because Benji was planning to leave the club! He has renewed his contract so should not be the case, right?

As for Heighington, isn't he contracted for another 2 years? Why is he continually mentioned as potentially leaving? Does anyone have solid proof that Heighy has been told to look elsewhere or has this rumour gathered momentum because he was seen talking to Gould?

Heino is just a rumour.

Benji, if moved to fullback would be a great one. If you check out his positioning during a game he is not what you would call in a "normal" 5/8 position. He mainly plays out in the centres.

Lockyer went from fullback to 5/8, Benji could go from 5/8 to fullback.

It would be good if benji goes to FB and sirro and miller in the halves that will give us another attacking player on the field just like when we had hodgo he was another 5/8 or halfback on the field

Ive heard Brown's off to Cronulla

Canberra is talking tough and saying clubs are wasting their time with Dugan. He won't be released from his contract, although how binding is a rugby league contract nowadays…..
