agree the timing was weird, but I suspect it was because Madge knows the intensity will drop when they come on and he left it until the time when their fresh legs might outweigh the lack of intensity.

But that late in the game? Sure save one player for the last 10 but two? You have just cooked the rest of your pack in that hope that Seyfarth and Garner can break the game open at the death. They are not those type of players

That was probably what he was thinking but it was a dud move.

Shoulda capitalised on their weakened bench.

Peachy should've came on sooner.
Seyf and Garner shoulda played in the first half also.

They've been pushing LL to be a 80 minute player since day 1 which I believe he is not... Kelma definitely isn't either.

Bench mismanagement cripped us tonight.
I ain't a coach though..... 😂

I strongly suspect that what we saw tonight is what we get. The hype and all the talk has been just that. He is an improved version of Josh Reynolds and its all bluff and bluster and talk that works in the SL but not here. You need substance in the NRL.

Just the first game, hope Im wrong and he wasnt horrible, he is like a good Josh Reynolds. It will be between him and AD for 6, no way he pushes Brooks out.

The halves were so poor tonight , imo.

AD is a creative genius compared to these two.
Game changer, no one's keeping him out.

I saw a massive disconnect between 7 and 6 tonight, no communication, no collaborative efforts.

I hope it's just rust and they combine well going forward but I also have my doubts. Early days tho....

His service was much better than Liddle last season and his front on defence has alot more sting than Lids who gets bounced off/concedes alot of post contact metres. Lids is a more dangerous dummy half runner
 
The difference Hughes Pap and Welch for mine. Welch is a machine his work rate is incredible - a huge loss for them. The other two are just quality who consistently make other teams pay. We won't be the only team to fall victim to their skills. We had the opportunity but just couldn't go the distance.
