Great game of footy. We've really got something to look forward to. Penrith have suddenly become the benchmark and we're every bit as good as they are. We were great tonight.

Especially when you consider the ref gave them the game

Hope coach takes the $10k hit and unloads. We got stitched up, to cop it on the chin will just ensure it happens again. Don't mind losing but we were duped. Why should we grin and cop it. Blow the $10k and make a stand

Don’t hold your breath mate, it never happens. We’re just a bloody door mat for referees to wipe their feet on every week. I’m over it!

Eiso was enormous and needs to be in the 17 even when Twal returns.

I thought he was our best. Problem is him and Twal are quiet close.

Boxer Aloiai should concentrate on catching the footy instead of talking up his own pugilistic skills. At least flog some mangy dog out on the field, Naden and wife-basher Tetevano were begging for it out there.

Yep . I once got kneed in the back of the head, had them try and chicken wing me (break my arm) , had a huge all in brawl that was started by them hitting our player on the ground , we had a player binned not them , and we had a ball clearly stripped out , we would have won the game with the penalty kick.
I did the same thing . I was absolutely filthy . I’ve never been in a game that felt so rigged .

When you play Madge ball, you need quality depth, because it’s a very demanding physical style of football and there will be injuries. Getting 17 NRL standard players for next week will be hard

Really disappointing, happy to keep in the team as he's shown signs... but he can't be the captain. He never talks to the ref and does not challenge calls that should be challenged AND does absolutely nothing to fire up the boys.

I for one was glad when things were blowing up our players backed eachother up havent seen that in a wests tigers team for years. Unfortunately looks like we will be without Joey for a few weeks maybe luciano, mcintyre, mbye with injuries. We could have some trouble with depth next week. I thought the reffing was bad ..but it was bad both ways .....I thought we got as good as we got

My biggest argument would of been the wrestle and the amount of time they got to set

Yeah I agree . Their markers were never square all game . BJ was tackled by Kikau when he was looking like making a line break , when kikau was caught in no mans land . And it was play on ? You’re either at marker or your not . It was all game too . Every time Harry jumped out there was someone offside

Nofoaluma gets the 3,2 and 1 tonight. He plays with the guts and determination our club desperately needs. Great game from him, and yep he lets the loss/rort burn him. As a fan that is much appreciated.

We don't necessarily need to publicly bag the ref and get fined to be heard. That's more likely to alienate the refs. The more measured response would be a carefully worded response detailing every example of what we believed to be errors directed to both the referees' boss and V'Landy.

Everyone's bagging Joey for an emotive response - we need to understand this applies to referee criticism as well.

Hmmmm, to be honest the "bend over, drop ya strides and cop it" approach hasn't done us much good as a club. Come out savage, site specific examples and put officials on notice. $10k well spent IMO. At least then there is a reference point to get a fair go.

He was our best player by the length of the Mount Panorama straight. Whenever there was a gutsy hit-up made, it was Nofoaluma. He was great.

Fantastic effort by all players, sadly, the ref decided the game, again!
One rule for a high tackle to us and the other to the opposition, their player stays on and our player cannot continue. Similarly with a shoulder tackle on McIntyre.
Both should be sent off, or at least 10 minutes bin.
