Moses does a lot of talking doesn't he for a 20 year old?

Let's not pretend the club didn't offer him for interviews in hope of getting a few extra bums on seats this weekend. It's part of the job.

Now JT walks on water according to those who want success and enjoy when it happens.
Why do people death ride our coach?
It has to be Magpies supporters who are used to languishing at the bottom of the ladder year after year.
So that's the glory days they talk about. Lol

We have really turned this season around. We've finished the year strongly. I can't give Taylor a wrap because we should be in the 8 with our squad for sure.

I will state though that Taylor has improved significantly this season.

Sounds like you're giving him a wrap?

Elijah Taylor

Really unnecessary comment to make - grow up!

What is unnecessary about replying? You grow up and stop trying to moderate the forum.

Confident kid who backs himself. It shows in the way he plays, he's backing it up which is what you want.

Yep, you have to be confident to succeed. And his game is good so let him speak.

Also he isn't saying anything other than what we as supporters want to hear " we can compete and we can win".

His tongue has got him in trouble already. Having to go the the NRL and apologise. Hope he keeps it in line as well.

That's the unnecessary (and incorrect) part of your reply and you know it. Just trying to be divisive as usual - it's old and tiresome, give it a rest.

It's the only scenario I can come up with.
The more we succeed the more people death ride our coach. Don't you find it strange that some want us languishing at the bottom of the ladder?
Once you get used to mediocrity, it's home.

The problem is the whole premise is wrong. I'm not death riding the coach at all.

Some of you guys are a little cultish in the way you think about JT. Any criticism and he is being death ridden. It's over the top.

I don't think anyone really wants us languishing at the bottom of the ladder, mate. And I don't think anyone is death riding our coach, as stevetiger commented below, it's just criticism which I think has been warranted at times, though granted there have been a couple who have taken it to the extreme.

Anyway, aside from that it's your 'scenario' that I object to - do we really have to bring up the whole Wests v Balmain thing again? I'm sick of us supporters having a go at each other because we used to support 2 different teams. It's just one team now and it's been that way for 17 years! The past is past, and for the record I think you might find that it may well be many old Balmain supporters who are, as you say, 'death riding' the coach. Perhaps there is some comfort in mediocrity there as well?

Better than the weekly Benji articles "we need to do better…"

Moses backs his talk on the field.

I would be happy if Moses achieves half as much as Benji.

I think Moses will be better than Benji

Benji was a brilliant Individual on the field and a wonderful statesman however there we many many brain explosions.

Moses is a Leader of a Team that has some remarkable talent as well.

Agree that some people defend JT when he doesn't need or deserve it. I wonder if this only happens because he gets attacked so much by some. The truth is nearly always in the middle of any two extreme arguments.

Back to this week, I'm worried that we all are writing as though we just have to beat Canberra. The Titans are going to be tough to beat if the cows don't show up, and history shows Rd 26 can throw up anything! Our fate isn't in our hands, and although I'm excited, realistically I agree with the Juro curve, we are only a 25% chance at making the 8.

If we do then :sign: :sign: :sign: :sign: :sign: :supporter:

Benji was amazing at Mitch's age, I feel that he either couldn't develop into a great, or wasn't supported properly. Still, as many times as he made a critical error, he also won us games with his brilliance and I'll always remember him fondly as a tiger.

Mitch seems more well rounded. Much more selective with his running game, and a better general play kicker than this time a year ago. I feel also has a more selective passing game than what we initially saw in first grade and is willing to get smashed when there is nothing on outside him. I think that contrary to my expectation of him being very flashy without a lot of substance, he has shown that with clear role definition and structure that he could be anything.

Can sum up his form this way, when teddy was at his very best earlier this year and last year we were still losing games. With Mitch at his very best we haven't lost.

Mitch can play five eigth; half back and fullback so that helps

There have been lots of studies done on this. When groups of people communicate they do not tend to compromise, they tend to polarise toward extremes. Following debate they tend to end up in a more extreme position of what their initial view was. It doesn't even have to follow debate. If like-minded people communicate together they will tend towards the more extreme version of their views. When you do have debate it can accelerate the process though, particularly where the debate is between competing extremists.

Sadly there is nothing unusual about the crap that goes on with this forum…

It's a matter of passion for something larger than ones self. Not quite a religion but not far off it.
Some get it and some don't. It's human nature.

At the start of the year i predicted 11th with 10-11 wins as a pass mark. So I will give JT and the team a wrap I think this season has been just above a pass mark, however it will be elevated a huge amount if we can win on Sunday and jag a finals spot. We can't be satisfied with near misses and mediocrity. An opportunity might present itself in Sunday and at home we need to take it, as you never know what could happen next year.

I predicted 10th - 13th so I'm quite pleased with how we've gone… To be in the mix still at Rd 26 is terrific... It's been a. Long time since we've had this and while it may be mediocre for some... Yes I agree there is always room for improvement.
Our semis series begins this Sunday with a home final at LO... How lucky are we?

To go a step further. To be in this position after losing 6 of our first 8 is remarkable and shows how much the side has improved. We've been exceptional throughout the second half of the season and win, or lose or draw on Sunday, its a great building block for 2017.

I really think our finals started way back with the dragons and may still be alive into the first week of finals.
