Well again, that's not entirely what his text says.
Yes there are plenty of reasons to be upset by the Tigers, but most of us are not running podcasts slagging off the admin. Then they invite the admin onto their podcast. I'm not sure what reaction they expected.
The criticisms of Lee are mostly warranted in my opinion, but that doesn't mean Lee is wrong to call them out for being constant nay-sayers, then asking him to come on for an interview.
When all you have is criticism, and you offer no solution or no work for towards a solution - then I can totally understand where Lee is coming from. Again, my opinion is Lee is being naive about the impact of the way he speaks to fans and members, but that doesn't mean his comments are entirely wrong either.
For example Lee puts a lot of hours and a lot of money into the club. Nobody seems to be grateful for this. He gets criticised often, and it seems to me mostly because Lee is an easy target - a bigwig lawyer who wears odd hats and appears fairly arrogant. But that does not abrogate the fact that Lee H volunteers a lot of his time and money to attempt to make the club better.
So I can totally understand Lee then having an emotional response for being called out all the time. His mistake is probably publicising that response.
We had a similar thing with The Ambush stuff, though on a much smaller scale obviously. People critical and calling out the attempts to engage with fans and members, without really understanding what was going on. It's difficult because many footy fans are fickle and very quick to criticise.
