We’re going to find out over the back end of the season. I know most of us weren’t expecting miracles, but this is just hot trash. And i don’t see any reason it’s going to change. We’re operating without a coach. Pretty crippling handicap in Rugby League. If Richo doesn’t make a tough call, I fear he’s heading down the same path as Pascoe.

I think Luai is on par with Api, in regards to what he will bring. But we need a hell of a lot more than him. I l like Turuva, but I’m not factoring him in at all as any sort of game changer.

Need a real a coaching staff, but that’s just IMO. We get reasonable rosters and fail each year.

Unfortunately 4 years won’t be enough time to get them to a premiership …

I think he will see out his contract ( health permitting ) … and improve them … but the change is going to be slow ..

Caretaker coach for their first offseason here, and then our next new coach, who will also fail to reach the lofty heights of not getting another wooden spoon, then have the fans asking for another new one until they're also sacked.

Do people think the last ten years of rubbish would be fixed in 6 months. I’m still on board and I think the clean out will continue . I’d rather be coming last and see better things coming then coming 10th on a yearly basis.

Richo should have a sit down with Benji and suggest he do a proper apprenticeship as an assistant coach or flegg coach or something under an experienced head coach like Brad Arthur. Benji should swallow his pride and recognize that this is too big a job for a rookie coach. There’s no shame in that. Appointing a rookie coach to turnaround the wests tigers was the act of a desperate, inept and ineffectual board. Don’t compound this error by persisting with it for longer than it takes to know it’s not working and is unlikely to start working.

I think tonight's game showed Richo there's alot more than 2 or 3 players need to be shopped around to SL, if Benji doesn't improve the team next year with the new players Richo won't hesitate he'll tap Benji on the shoulder and tell him times up, if Benji really loves the wests tigers he should step aside, watching Api after the game being interviewed he seemed to be in tears, I was in tears just watching the poor guy

We won more games definitely, recruited players who were going to get their super and had no upside the following year. We are blooding some amazing juniors , we have two great backs coming next year. Keep your head up I have faith in their plan .

You can’t shop them all. We might off offload two or three, but that’s it. We aren’t ridding ourselves of a dozen contracts. My guess is we get rid of Sullivan and Bateman. The rest we gotta deal with. Then there is the fun of replacing them and being in the same position again in 2 or 3 years. Rinse and repeat.

They will need to recruit more experienced players than just the 2 so far ..the juniors are still not ready next year to move this team forward significantly… they need more wins than 4 a year to keep fans and sponsors happy

I think @jirskyr mad a very good point in another thread tonite... If we punt benji now, halfway thru the season... Who in their right mind is going to come here knowing they have that time frame to turn this rust bucket of a sinking ship around?
No one of any standing or quality that's for sure....
I advise you all just get numb to it all... While a marriage that isn't working isn't good and the parents stick together for the kids... It doesn't matter one bit if I don't love this club anymore and just take a passing interest
Only Twice in the last three years I've been very excited and on the edge of my seat by the footy we've played... Some fans get that almost weekly
As long as south's don't pass us but I'm sure they will
