Docker retires due to knee injury
This is insane. The amount of players retiring young due to repeated injury now seems really prevalent, moreso than it ever was.
Maybe I am just paying more attention than I used to, but it does seem as though more kids are retiring than there ever were.
I don't know whether it had anything to do with his retirement but I think Docker has also had multiple concussions.
Wasn't it Nigel Plum that was the one with the chronic concussions? I think the reason a lot of young blokes are pulling the pin on their careers through injury CB is that they can see how the older blokes have suffered post-career through old injuries ie: barely being able to walk with mangled knees.?

AT the ripe old age of 24, Adam Docker has been forced to retire.
Having continually overcome the odds, from a coma to multiple concussions, Docker has always prided himself on his ability to fight his way out of the most difficult situations.
But after just four seasons in the NRL, during which he was discussed for Australian Test honours, the Penrith forward has reached his breaking point.
His body, more specifically his left knee, has let him down.
That’s why just three months before his 25th birthday, Docker’s been forced to hang up his boots.
It wasn’t even a choice. The decision was made for him.
With no cartilage left in his knee, the bones have been grinding against each other all year.
