Yep, it was a courisly subdued crowed however, we never had a chance to get into the game.

Yep your right, actually i vaugely remember pascoe was on holidays and had asked that they wait and they didn't or something like that.

I think wingers do need to have some height about them especially to combat the bombs in defence and put pressure on the catcher in attack given that you almost automatically get penalised for tackling the player if you are not taller or don't leap higher then the defending player. but certainly must have skill.

A giraffe would be good, it would bring kids back to the game. we can have bring a carrot to feed the giraffe day and he is already almost decked out in our colours.

JAC is not that tall 184 cm, Nofoaluma is 180, but we let go much better players Koroibete (180cm/93kg) and Naiyaravoro (194 cm/124) at the same time for a good measure kg :frowning:

Top 8 isn't much in this day and age and we haven't been there for a long time

In fact I'd question how many other sides haven't made the Top 8 in the last 5 years ??

Your answer is there , our roster is still lacking and we are at least 3 quality players away from a being a true contender
