The first SP I bought was at Popendetta. I paid my Kina to a hand extended from a hole in a cinder block wall. At that time we were all naive, drinking at dusk in low lying area close to swamps. At least when the mosquitoes bite, they don't itch.

New Britain is a beautiful part of PNG.

I had a bit of a break at the Laloata Dive resort at Bootless Inlet.

I hadn't had a Guinness since a Bucks night many years ago when the only drink you could drink was Guinness ....got royally messed up and even a Guinness ad ...made my feel bad

Had a couple over the weekend ......as the Irish say "baby's milk" ......

Never had one in Ireland so can't make a personal comparison but all the Irish say the Guinness made in Asutralia is goats........ don't mind it myself. 🙂

New Britain is a beautiful part of PNG.

Asahi Super Dry.

I don’t mind a drop of that. The bottles are ok, brewed in Thailand, but prefer the cans which are brewed in Japan. Goes great with some teppan nosh 👍

On the beer side of things - don't like many local big brand beers. More in to craft beers either packaged or from the tap. A few local breweries where i live that have bar, food and entertainment - all have really nice drops.
