What do you eat while watching the Tigers play on TV....

Just a change of topic seeing we havent an NRL round this weekend..

If it is a Friday night game,I come home from work and cook up either Hotdogs with,American mustard, sweet chilli sauce and tomato sauce, top it up with tasty shredded cheese and grill untill toasted..or home made hamburgers, with lettuce, tomato, onion, beetroot, bacon and egg…or home made steak sandwiches with lettuce, tomato onion, beetroot and cheese...

These are just a quick wholesome meal that my missus and kids love..through the week they get good home cooked meals of steak, fish, chicken, curried snags or rissoles all with sides of veges or salad and chips..

When we have eaten the kids either watch the footy or go to their rooms...which is great for me because I sit and watch "Good LuckCharlie"or sponge" Bob square pants,"or the walking dead, none of which interest me...

Sometimes the kids say"are you watching the footy tonight, because we would like some cabbanossi, cheese and biscuits for snacks before dinner, followed by soup and toasted sandwiches, the soup I make myself and it is usually chicken and vege made to my dear mums recipe..

I look forward to your replies....

Ice cream, to cool me down. Prefer something that has nuts, say macadamias or hazelnut, and will put up with almonds.

man after my own heart… well sort of...

I find if I eat and drink I need to pee more often, so I avoid food so I can go a whole half between dunny runs. I even drag an esky to whichever tv I am watching, so there is no fridge runs either.

Aye just water for me, I am too busy concentrating to eat a big meal. Eat before or afterwards.

I don't like drinking during or before a game either, you lose your focus on the match and usually have to take too many toilet breaks!

Geez some of you blokes leave a lot to be desired,I have to eat and I have to drink…Carlton draught ,takes the nerves away..

I take a Pee when the ads are on.......

Last year most often it was humble pie.

This year it's whatever is on the menu. (Friday night is my night to cook) Usually something simple that keeps the kids happy, snags, spaghetti stir fry.
I generally have a couple of beers to calm the nerves.

I'm lucky enough to get to go to most games. I always go with my old man and travel down from the central coast to go to all home games and Sydney games (unless sick etc).

We always get a pie with chips and a coke.. I don't drink alcohol at the footy as I prefer to focus on what is happening and delay the toilet breaks till the end of the game! I hate the idea of missing any play at all…

We always grab our feed when we get to the ground, so that it's done and dusted by the time the game starts.. Nothing worse than having a pie and chips in your lap and then standing up to cheer a try only to realise it has fallen on the person in front!!

Used to drink my weights worth in grog, now I only have one or two and I don't really eat anything unless I'm eating dinner while the game is on, which is usually Lite & Easy.
