What does Tim Sheens say to the team before they run out?

'they have to win, we want to win'

'I haven't dropped anyone in 8 years, dint worth boys I wont start now'

'forwards make sure you come off a standing start when you get the ball and run at the markers. Remember it got us quick playthe balls in 2005'

'which outside back will I turn into a backrower this week'

'which 2 bench players will get 15 minutes and 3 minutes respectivley this werk'

'make sure you don't move up in defence and most of always slide on our line'

'plenty of short Kicks early in the tackle count when in their 20'

'under no circumstances contest a bomb'

That's just a start

Unbelievable ….... this sort of performance is just becoming a re-occurring bad joke.

Its time to introduce performance based payments for players and coaching staff.

Its okay as long as we win every second game, nobody will be ever held accountable…

By my count under the great one thats 99 wins & 101 losses (I may be a few games out??). He also has notched another fantastic record 300 losses overall!

But hey what do results matter, lets sign him up for another 3 years :frowning:

Hes also got the record for the mos amount of wins and games coached so whats your point.

Dont worry we will make the finals for the 2nd year in a row

I'd like him to start with "im sorry".

No team does this as much as us. We dont turn up as a whole unit so many times throughout each year and its the cosches to job to ensure the team is switched on and working together. Now for u do gooders who will say " tim doesnt drop the balls or miss the tackles"…........im sure your the same people who credit Bennett with Saints being so consistant.......so i can blame Sheens for us being inconsistant

I believe we as supporters dont ask for a win, all we ask for is commitment. If this was a once off ok, but we do it time and time again. But lets re-sign the "boss"......the man who cant get regular commitment out of his players.

Here, here King Sirro - very well put! And if people cannot see this they are fooling themselves.

agree. why can't we perform consistently from one game to the next? why do we have the same defensive problems year-on-year, especially up the middle? why are we out-muscled more often than not???

Well boys, you know how i wanted a 4 year contract with this club and they only gave me 3?? Well i got a call from Ryan Tandy which reassures my retirement package. You know what to do boys if you want to play next week…

What about what Robbie said after the game? "where too inconsistant at the moment"….....AT THE MOMENT??????, try the last 8 years Robbie.

Mate I agree with you 100% in fact I just posted a post along these lines. Since day one we have had two winning streaks and even in those years (2005 and 2010) the majority of the year they were up down like a yo yo.

Theirs no excuse anymore, we have heard them all. Every team has bad days but we have far to many of them and our form swings from week to week is way to big.

Iam not going to bag Sheens because nothing is going to change for another three years in the head coaching role, the club wanted him and now they have got him so we cant change what is done!!! Maybe as a lot of fans have being saying its the players and not the coach and maybe our team of super stars are not that good at all

if not so sure its the players. i mean it is the same defensive issues (and kicking game to some extent) every year. we've let go players and bought others but yet the same kind of rubbish is put out way too often…

That statement just makes me a little sad. Almost as sad as a statement of "We will make the finals for the second time since 2005 in a competition where half the sides play in the finals"

The coach can not instill a winning culture in this team. He can not instill Hunger, Passion, desire, he is a terrible terrible coach.

3.5 more years of weak soft performances. You are a DISGRACE Sheens.

Why out of all the comments would that make you sad.

Ok well would it be better not to make the finals at all.

I like to be positive if thats ok

And if we don't make the finals tiger4ever - hypothetically? What happens then?

With Sheens putting the club in a auction with Penrith I doubt the club would have had the clout to put any minimum performances clauses in his contract. So as in the past nothing much will change. Sheens and his player will continue to be unaccountable. You know half the problem the players and Sheens seem to have a very comfortable relationship. Anyway nothing is going to change for another three years
