What happened to the Ruski?

Does anyone recall the Russian Centre that trialled with the Tigers in 2008?.. I can't recall his name, but I do recall he got a few games in the trials that year…he stood out as he was a hard hitter/defender.I thought he was meant to return to the Tigers later on...does anyone recall this?

Rugby League in Russia is on it's last legs, aparrently with Rugby 7's being included on the Olympic Games Russian RL clubs have switched codes as there's massive government funding for Olympic sports.
