Apparently he has re-signed but has not been announced yet

Was actually one of our better forwards in the back half of the season. Played with injury and too much of a ball player for a Madge style forward. His exit could have been handled much better by the club.

How could it be handled better? He was let go just like every other guy that doesn’t get offered a new contract. Don’t think there was any drama there

Simple mate, you don’t tell a guy with a new born baby we won’t be offering a contract, then tell him you will be, then wait till the week of the last round and tell him you won’t be again.

Haven’t heard that anywhere. He found himself a new club anyway so not really an issue, players should be able to understand that it’s business, things change in just a day plus there’s still no set salary cap figure for 2021. I’m happy he got a new deal elsewhere he deserves it.
