"Under-fire Canterbury coach Kevin Moore denied his club were in crisis after lowly Cronulla inflicted a fifth defeat in six NRL games on the struggling Bulldogs on Sunday.Moore's future has been under scrutiny following a disappointing campaign from a club which has recruited heavily over the last two seasons.
The feeble 26-10 loss to a Paul Gallen-inspired Sharks at ANZ Stadium further cranked up the heat on the 46-year-old.
The loss meant the Bulldogs would start the week outside the top eight, but Moore maintained there's no need to panic and claimed his side's current situation was not affecting him.
"I just discard it (the speculation)," he said. "It goes with the business. It's a results-oriented business and, at the moment, we're just sitting on the fringe of the eight.

The Bulldogs have won the same number of games we have.
What I want to know is why is Kevin Moore under pressure for being on the fringe of the eight, but Tim Sheens is rewarded with a contract extension?
Why is it a 'results oriented business' only for Moore, not for Sheens?
And for the record, I'm a huge Sheens fan. He turned the club around from a bunch of rabble into a professional, premiership winning joint. But it's very clear now he needs to move on.
