What is a successful 2026 for the Tiger's

Injuries aside, this was the winnable game we needed to look to forge our way towards the finals but completely shit the bed .
IMO we have zero chance of finals this year...I was singing a different tune earlier in the year but reality just set in ..if Stg can beat us we got nothing 💩👎💩💩

This thread is a true rollercoaster ride.
So much promise and form led to high expectations as the further you read into the thread, the more you saw people’s spirits breaking.
At this point in time bottom 4 is where they are headed, which is totally unacceptable after the start they had … 12 points after round 8!!!

My main complaint is that there seems to have been little to zero adjustment to our pattern of play as the season has unfolded, certainly injuries have not helped but all year we have had little creativity and it shows in our poor attack. The coaching staff have a lot to answer for.

That sentence sums it up perfectly! This team breaks my spirit every year, I really don’t know why I follow them.

As much as it hurts you follow them because it is an integral part of you as a person.I respect any supporter of any club that refuses to change clubs, that is the essence of what being a supporter means imho.

For me it wasn’t so much about position on the table as it was about effort and attitude week in week out. In the first 6-8 weeks I was excited to see them looking like a tight knit unit playing with heart and hunger.
For whatever reasons we have completely lost that and now resemble the Tigers of seasons past. Which is the most disappointing part.
At this point, regardless of ladder position, in my view the season has sadly been a failure and the club, coaches and players need to take a long hard look at themselves.

Disappointed like all supporters in the teams ' recent performances.
More than nine wins ,which was last year's total, would be an achievable goal.
Three more wins would be some recompense for 2026.
If not, the proverbial needs to hit the fan.

I suppose Benji is leading the players into accepting responsibility for on-field performances by continually saying after each game that “it’s my fault” but the reality is professionals already know this, don’t they?

Would be great to see a better defensive effort in the final games of this season.
That’s it, that’s all I ask.
A reduction of points against. Lower than 28 points per game for the last 10 games.

To be honest ..i don’t even know what that looks like and who would lead any meaningful changes...very little will be different next season in my view including the main names on the roster … they will need to have a lot of luck with maintaining their Top 20 players injury free over the course of a long season to have any hope of the Top 8

No way ya walking away, but I got my kids into supporting this average team ...the disappointment just continues x3 😞

To be honest mate ..as long as they remain the Wests Tigers I will keep supporting them..but if anyone else decides to stop following them I’m not going to judge them …I think fans of the club get very little enjoyment out of supporting the team …

That is true but think of how many drug companies we collectively keep in business,my blood pressure tablets alone keep them financially healthy.

Yes very true, I just wish I could extract that integral part, I would be much happier lol.
