What is the one line in any song

You can be scared when it gets too real, you can be scared when it gets too real, but you should be diggin' it while it's happenin' (Yes, you should be diggin' it while it's happenin') 'cause it might just be a one shot deal.

I don't need lots of people, tellin' me what to do
I don't need a long-haired lady, to love me true as true
All I need is a rock'n'roll band, somewhere new to play
And I'm on my way, I'm on my way

Like ashes on the water, I drift away in sorrow
knowing that the day my lesson's finally learned
I'll be standing at a river staring out across tomorrow
and the bridge I need to get there will be a bridge that I have burned.

And as for the best lines I've written, probably this, from a song called "lessons to be learned" (from a broken heart)
just like a bone that breaks and heals a little stronger,
so does the heart that aches, it just takes a little longer.

I used to rule the world
Seas would rise when I gave the word
Now in the mornin', I sleep alone
Sweep the streets I used to own

When my 15 year old German Shepherd died I asked the boys on the breakfast show on a radio station in Malta to play that song for me. It encapsulated how I felt without her.

The champions they were they played it for me. Sometimes the smallest gesture can mean more than you ever imagine.
