What is the pass mark for Sheens and the team ??

top 4

With our roster, without a doubt, but don't expect action if the master fails.

Hmm can see it now, a classic Sheens excuse "No excuses or anything but injuries really derailed our season and being premiership favourites was always going to affect us but no excuses or anything".

I can't see top 4 happening, on Form NO….... if we don't make at least the 8 , he should do the honourable thing and hand in his Wests Tigers clip board . But it won't happen.

With our roster full of internationals, the fact we let club juniors go and bought big, top 4 was and remains the pass mark.

Anything less is a failure. If we fail to make the 8, I expect a clean out.

Guys keep saying with our roster….well we have the same money as everyone else to spend....we have a good roster but sheens did assemble it...parra spend the same as us...look at their side compare to ours...the club deserves credit for that.

how childish are some…i answered earlier in the post top 8 and now we are there we would be hoping for a top 4 position but its not the be all and end all the last 3 years 1 of the teams in the grand final have finished outside the top 4

How bout getting the best out of the team every week. The great thing about sides like the Storm and Broncos is that although they might not win every week, they rarely if ever get blown out of the water. We come up with performances out of nowhere where we'd be flat out beating a NSW cup side sometimes. Consistantcy is what its about imo

Would be nice but id say we need a new side then.

Who cares what you think don't quote me…you hate sheens but love joel caine....that's hilarious.Did he sign your first jersey

Who cares what anyone thinks?
I think we all do otherwise we wouldnt be reading anyone elses posts.
Only the guy that starts those "Can we beat ++++++ this week" threads reads only his own stuff…no one elses.
---------------------------------------------

I rememeber at the start of the year Sheens and the team were saying they wanted to start the year well
1/5 = fail.

Then seven straight wins??? or six??? gets us back into the black, just.

Two consecutive losses against the bottom feeders sees us back in negative territory as we speak....9 weeks to go!!

We've only had one genuine full of season of consistantcy imo and that was in ,10

How good was '10.

Apart from the finals on '05, 2010 was by far my favorite-less stress inducing season.

Anything less than a top 4 finish is a fail. If we do worse than the two previous years with arguably a better or as good lineup than its a fail. Injury has hurt us but think back to '10 &'11 and we had several out and Robbie playing through a groin injury. The big difference this year is we have key players not performing. This is a fail IMO.

In saying that, a fail season can be a good thing in the longterm. It will force changes…hopefully.

I reckon a pass mark would be the 8 (there is 16 teams we should be in the top half). Given we are in a strong point of our "cycle", I d want more, either a top 4 finish or a strong finals campaign would have me satisfied, if we limp into 7th or 8 and lose the first semi, altho it would be a pass, id still be disappointed.

I really think this group of players as a team hit the wall against the Warriors last year in the semi final series and I dont think they have mentally been able to re group. This year they may make the top eight but it will only be a token visit and 2012 will probably go down as our most disappointing effort in our short history. We just have to recruit some really hard heads who hate to be on the wrong side of the score board
