Klein is a Pommy - that is the trouble.

First six years of refereeing were spent in England - that makes him a Pommy in my eyes.
You are happy to call him an Ocker - good for you!

The bottom line Klien has been at the bottom of the pile in reffing ability since day one and still gets rolled out every weeks, so dont hold your breath expecting the NRL to take action

The NRL has demonstrated repeatedly over the years that it has zero credibility, morals, gumption, honesty etc etc. It is corrupt from slimy Greenberg down.
Gus stated today that he has it on good authority that it was the pocket ref who told Klein to blow the penalty. Either way it doesn't help our club one bit, as usual WT have been forced to eat a s### sandwich served up by the NRL and be expected to smile while they digest it.

They will sweep it under the counter as usual - this is WT not Melbourne.
So true, if that was melbourne or brisbane defending on friday it would have been no penalty and play on.
The refs are cleared in most cases because they deem the penalty 50/50 or correct, it is the penalties not given that get no attention.
Like brisbane markers being way offside on our field goal, no penalty given, the refs have different standards for each team, they have absolutely zero cred
@ said:Referees have ordinary calls throughout the game. just a shame one decided the end result. Imo drop balls consecutively cost us the game .
Also think there should be 3 points given in golden point. 1 each for draw and 1 for golden point winner. That way the loser gets some consolation for their effort.
Does anyone know if a team has missed the 8 since golden point that would have made it with one extra competition point
@ said:Yes we all make mistakes. The point is, it seems that the Tigers, and other less fancied teams, always bear the brunt of these mistakes. Let me ask you this: if Cameron Smith was slightly off centre at marker under the same circumstances would he have been penalised? If you cannot answer with a confident ‘yes’ then there is a problem in the game.
