What should be the punishment

Why don't we just import some of those pommy refs? That one that did the four nations was alright.

Klein is a Pommy - that is the trouble.

Born in Bathurst NSW
But carry on …..!

First six years of refereeing were spent in England - that makes him a Pommy in my eyes.

You are happy to call him an Ocker - good for you!

We really can’t worry about what consequence if any Klein faces. He made a mistake and it gave the game to Brisbane however we can only control ourselves. Get pack on the field and show up with the commitment from the last few weeks. Put it in the past and focus on next week.

Has to be dropped if the NRL has any credibility, but the ref boss has already given Klien some excuses for is brain dead call. The bottom line Klien has been at the bottom of the pile in reffing ability since day one and still gets rolled out every weeks, so dont hold your breath expecting the NRL to take action

The NRL has demonstrated repeatedly over the years that it has zero credibility, morals, gumption, honesty etc etc. It is corrupt from slimy Greenberg down.
Gus stated today that he has it on good authority that it was the pocket ref who told Klein to blow the penalty. Either way it doesn't help our club one bit, as usual WT have been forced to eat a s### sandwich served up by the NRL and be expected to smile while they digest it.

Never a dull post mate …
Love it !

NRL wont do anything.

I'd be sitting him down publicly and asking why the discrepancies - point out why X wasn't penalised, when Y was. Pick apart and dissect the game the way the pundits do to our players.

I want to hear him give the exact reasons behind the decisions.

Hammer home the idea of consistency.

He's human. People are carrying on a bit I think. That's football. You get the good calls and bad at times.

We shouldn't have missed the goal and let it get to golden point.

Referees boss Bernard Sutton has confirmed that it should NOT have been a penalty against the Tigers as the Broncos player wasn’t standing straight when he played the ball.

See to me, that’s not good enough. What happens down the track if the Tigers miss the 8 by 2 competition points? It would cost the Club hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue.

When a huge fark up like this occurs which directly causes a team to lose a game, apart from an official apology by the bald-headed cheat, I believe the NRL should pay the affected club some dispensation. Imagine how the players feel after such a huge effort to be told the game was taken from them by an incompetent biased official.

The NRL should pay the tigers or any other Club affected like we were last year a substantial compensation. It may just make them think more about it knowing that sorry won’t be enough.

They are quick to fine clubs for mistakes, coaches calling out refs etc. Why is it not good enough for this crooked mob to fine themselves?

At the Warren there is tonnes of sympathy for WT position re the ref.

His punishment will probably be that he appointed to the WT v Parra game this week.

They will sweep it under the counter as usual - this is WT not Melbourne.

So true, if that was melbourne or brisbane defending on friday it would have been no penalty and play on.
The refs are cleared in most cases because they deem the penalty 50/50 or correct, it is the penalties not given that get no attention.
Like brisbane markers being way offside on our field goal, no penalty given, the refs have different standards for each team, they have absolutely zero cred

Would be interesting to know if we would have got that penalty if Brooks missed the field goal?

In any event, I blame the touchy for not seeing that Isaako went into touch before the penalty was given that locked it all up. Should have won in regular time.

The 300 mistakes the players made, including dropped balls and the most ridiculous set of six ive ever seen (you all know the one) didnt contribute to the loss. Only the one referee mistake did…...And you want compensation?

I noticed the security guards got around the refs and touchies quickly to escort them off, at Campbelltown.
I think the punishment should be all the same refs have to officiate all the Tigers home games for the rest of the year with no security and the crowd is give the ok to throw tomatoes at them for the full 80 minutes and a 15 minute period after the game when they are strapped to the goalposts.

Referees have ordinary calls throughout the game. just a shame one decided the end result. Imo drop balls consecutively cost us the game .
Also think there should be 3 points given in golden point. 1 each for draw and 1 for golden point winner. That way the loser gets some consolation for their effort.
Does anyone know if a team has missed the 8 since golden point that would have made it with one extra competition point

Yes we all make mistakes. The point is, it seems that the Tigers, and other less fancied teams, always bear the brunt of these mistakes. Let me ask you this: if Cameron Smith was slightly off centre at marker under the same circumstances would he have been penalised? If you cannot answer with a confident ‘yes’ then there is a problem in the game.

Seems there's a golden point thread.
My bad

I do agree they favour the favorite. The only way to change their perception is to start winning convincingly.
