Hello ..is there anybody in there...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8fFVOoqepc

Who would have have thought that the worlds most inspiring guitar solo would have come from licking toads

LSD= Licking Swamp Dwellers.
That solo would definitely be in the top 3 of all time IMO. A few years ago went and saw Roger Waters perform "The Wall" album in its entirety, complete with all the movies' imagery projected onto a wall that was gradually built on stage throughout the performance. When it came time for the solo for Comfortably Numb the amps were noticeably turned up massively....the sound just left you slack-jawed, it was incredible.

I have so many versions of Comfortably Numb nearly all of them live and i think the version on Pulse is the best just ahead of Live in Gdansk.Gilmour is one of the best guitarists i have heard.

If you like guitarists, try listening to Duane Allman playing on You Don't Love Me live at the Fillmore East, go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdBsB6U-gVg

Yes he was another great guitarist in an era which had so many great ones imo.The music of that era will hopefully never get too old to be played loud

Classic Korn, love the beat to Freak on a leash:

Groove to this Guitar Freaks. Been an ardent Buckethead fan for half a decade now and just found this other fan who can recreate his works to this extent on one of my favourite tracks of his. Awesome.
Has a soft slow intro - let it warm up.

I'm continually impressed by The Anix - for anyone who likes electronic music but with an edge to it, this guy is awesome:

Havent heard him before but that is fine to listen to. Sounds a little like Peter Gabriel.My favourite electronic band is undoubtedly Tangerine Dream,their early stuff in the late 60s to mid 70s is an acquired taste but became more mainstream after that.

He's quite heavily inspired by NIN, Depeche Mode and definitely has a throwback to a lot of 80's synthwave sounds.

That's the guy. He is known alot from GNR, but has over 300 solo albums in just about any style you could think of.
And yep, still wears his KFC bucket.

A song which perfectly depicts the stupidity of war and the sacrifice of combatants of all countries
