Went shopping at Rhodes Ikea 15 years ago and Benji was there cutting people's hair for Charity

Was driving at Leichardt and stopped at a zebra crossing to let Robbie Farah cross the street

Went running at Bay Run and saw Robbie again walk the other way

Can't remember if Jamal Idris was still playing for us at the time, but saw him at a nightclub 10 years ago

Met the team at the Charity Golf day on Wednesday finally got Benji to sign his book I have had since 2005

Ex Tigers player. Josh Aloai. At MAC Square 2024. He was having a feed with his family, I said “ hey Josh, nice to see you in Campbelltown” and some other stuff.
I didn’t pause to hassle him for a photo, respected him and his privacy. He was super nice and polite.
My aunt who was with me asked who my
Mate was. She was taken back after I told her who he was. Because he was super nice she thought he was someone I had known for years.
Just a reminder that all these sports personalities are humans after all and without fans and audience they aren’t much more than some other person.

We get some big name ARL players drinking with the riff raff , some just love the limelight and are really patient/get off on posing for selfies. Its a strange world.
