What would make you a believer, in 2022?

What i would like to see for 2022 is that there remains **stabilty** within the WT **boardroom**.
Relatively speaking, the WT has avoided such boardroom crisis, such as the bulldogs have had and probably still continuing,

Story by, Nine sports the mole 11 months ago:
*"FORMER Canterbury premiership-winning skipper Peter Tunks has appealed for a cease-fire in the brutal civil war that is engulfing the club.
The Bulldogs have been fighting boardroom battles for decades, with constant sniping between rival factions.
In the latest spat, forces are attempting to pressure Chair Lynne Anderson and prominent figures John Ballesty and Paul Dunn to stand down from their positions"*

As i had mentioned before, even uncle Politis didn't achieve success in 2 years, it was long after 9 years, but when the WT boardroom is providing the necessary direction, management and the up to date resources for our team then there can be **no more chances left** for the **WT** to be **trampled** over by the **herd of the NRL teams**. The sleeping giant is awakening.

"the sleeping giant is awakening"...I like the sound of that @FinestTigers

I remember Wests saying that in the early 90s when they signed Wazza Ryan and had some good Junior coming through. They didnt last another decade.

Wests Ashfield to sell the club.

Yep, I'm starting to warm to this idea of private ownership. And, maybe even relocation to Perth.

Radical, I know, but it could solve a few inherent problems that WT, as it is in 2021, seems incapable of solving.

Short of that, I'd be happy to see Lee H resign or be booted in a board coup. The man is nothing more than an entitled sports fan using his position to get a media profile, much to the detriment of the club.

I'm not sure it'll happen, since the COE was purpose built for the club.

However, no thanks to Perth...
East Brisbane Tigers, I see the value in.
I would follow them on a move like that...

Bennett as coach.
Munster as captain.
Harry Grant too.
The new Melbourne storm.

Anyway, preference is none of it happens and we improve and become competitive and successful....

Must stop this talk now.
We're scaring @cochise
Sorry mate ?

Mate.. I would be joining you straight away..

East Brisbane Tigers.. 100%!

Never been to Langlands Park .....Cooparoo...have you ??

You can’t get much further west than Perth.

Oh my, some of these responses shows we are all truly in need of help.

For me though, effort. I dont care who is here running the show or playing, I just want effort. I want other teams turnign up knowing that are getting dragged into the sewer and will have to fight to win. I want every player crawling off the field at the end because they have no more energy to give.

Effort, just effort.

“I want other teams turnign up knowing they are getting dragged into the sewer“
I am sure they are well aware. We are the kings of dragging teams down to our level.

Supporting a team is optional, not mandatory.

Demanding they improve is being supportive.
Patting them on the head and writing fanfiction is not necessarily helping the situation.

See, I knew would agree eventually.

A new coach would at least return me to the glass half full point, as it is just about bone dry after supporting a team that has been drilled into a hard to watch robotic like mob of zombies.

We have footballers in our squad that need to be allowed to play!

New management, new coaching staff and any player that’s been here playing 1st grade longer than 4 years moved on. Pipe dream, I know.
There is no reason to be a believer for 2022. The football club showed its true colours this year. This squad are below par across the board with only a couple of green shoots appearing.

Wests Ashfield to sell the club.

I wonder why they just don't. Why keep the footy team with all its hassles and failure? How is that enjoyable for the Leagues Club directors? They seem clueless about finding a way out.

Board restructure, with new independent members and at least one member with some footy nous. New chair, new CEO and new coach. Even then I probably wouldn’t be too excited. We need another roster overhaul and really need to stop neglecting the Campbelltown/Macarthur region.

Punting Brooks. The minute he's no longer on our roster is the minute we can have hope again.

💯

Improvement in our on-field performance. That's literally all I want to see and something I haven't seen for two years. Of course, that likely involves some new players to complement our only good players (Laurie, Stefano, Doueihi), vast improvement in others, and *gasp* (a new coach)

I dunno. It's not like they get thousands of Tigers fans who go there like panthers/ eels fans go to their leagues.
I don't see the benefit to the leagues club. It's a terrible 'asset'

Penrith to get absolutely pumped by 50 next week, Nathan to have a falling out with his father over it and demand immediate release to play under Ciraldo at Tigers next season. As an added flip of the bird Nathan convinces a couple of mates to join him and Tigers go on to win the comp with Riff failing to make the finals.
