Whatever happened to the Wests in the Wests Tiger

I see your point Smeg, but what i'm saying is how stupid it is to be corrected on calling them their actual name. I'm not talking about chanting, just referring to who they are and being told 'no, thats wrong'. :crazy

We are Wests Tigers gee it's been 12 years get over it.There are still people who can't except it . My 9 year old nephew got told off by a supporter for yelling out Go Wests he was told that it's the Tigers not Wests.I was quick to point out that at age 9 he wasn't even familiar with the merge and associated polotics.

Wish I had of been there, I'm an old Balmain fan and I would have told that supporter that he was a Douche. I really can not believe that people would have a problem with others calling them wests. I always cringe when someone calls them Balmain but feel that the majority of time that this is an honest mistake, especially when done in the media.

I really dont know many supporters who are looking for advantage over the other side of the merger. Do I refer to the team as the Tigers more than Wests, yes I do, but I did this when I supported the Balmain Tigers aswell. I don't see this as me trying to diminish Wests place in the merger. Sorry if you see that in another way, but if you do you really need to get over it.

there are many ways we can view it but the way I see it is this
We are the wests magpies and balmain tigers playing together to achieve success as the wests tigers, we have too much pride and history to ignore and are strongest if we embrace each sides strengths and combine them.

Similar but different to how many players from various clubs combine to form the blues for the greater cause of beating the maroons.

Yes, there are many ways, and many people use all those many ways…we all should remember that we all come from many paths, some one side, some the other, some from teams with no connecton, and some with no past but the here and now....people pushing others to see it their way (get over it) (move on) (its been 12 years) etc etc should stop and think for a second.
