What's happened to Lodge?

Lodge didn't get selected the last couple of weeks for first grade and has not played state cup either. The same has occurred this week. I haven't heard nor seen any injury reports from the club. Seems a bit strange. I wonder if he is being disciplined for an off field incident? Does anyone know anything or heard anything?

There was rumour of another off-field discretion, honestly can't remember where I saw it though.

It was in Rugby League week where they said he had been guilty of continually breaching club standards , so if thts the case as a young bloke you need to drop him

Agreed.Sad cause he has talent but hes carrying on like a buffoon at the moment. This is where if we had an old hard head like Gallen and co he wouldn't be carrying on like a pork chop.If only… :unamused: :unamused:

He is paid to perform on the field… And from what I saw he's done much better than blokes picked ahead of him....unless he breaks the law off field the club should mind its own business

Wrong, on so many levels…The club has a code of conduct, every club does and if you breach that code there will be consequences. It's called being professional. Lodge is learning that the hard way. Given both his parents are Police Officers, he really should know better. And as his employer, the club has every right to manage the situation how they see fit given the public light that NRL footballers are held in.

I WOULD SAY THEY WILL LET HIM GO LIKE THEY DO WITH ALL THE GOOD TALENTED PLAYERS …. ANOTHER CLUB WILL TURN HIM INTO A TOP LINE FORWARD WAIT AND SEE.......

He won't be released…

There is no evidence Lodge has done anything wrong, or anything the public might be critical of him.

Yes he might have in the past but there is no evidence he is being stood down for anything like that now.

More like he is being stood down because he has clashed with the coach and failed to carry out instructions or was somehow disrespectful.

Whatever the real situation im starting to think he has one foot out the door.

You say there is no evidence he did anything wrong, then speculate that he clashes with the coach.

No evidence for either scenario.
