What's happened to Lodge?

There is no evidence Lodge has done anything wrong, or anything the public might be critical of him.

Yes he might have in the past but there is no evidence he is being stood down for anything like that now.

More like he is being stood down because he has clashed with the coach and failed to carry out instructions or was somehow disrespectful.

Whatever the real situation im starting to think he has one foot out the door.

Going on today's news about our finances, I'd say that most would have one foot out the door as well. If we are being told the truth.

He is paid to perform on the field… And from what I saw he's done much better than blokes picked ahead of him....unless he breaks the law off field the club should mind its own business

Partly yes..without knowing the alleged "breaches"….he should be judged first and foremost what he does on the field...from what I can tell he has spent quite a number of weeks on the sideline "uninjured"..so in the clubs eyes it must be serious....but don't we, the fans, deserve an explanation from the club without going into too much detail??...that's being professional

Most other clubs would fine their player for indiscretions(nothing like a hefty fine to change behaviour) and keep their player on the field…don't know why we need to be different...considering we need the money!

When you do not see eye to eye with your boss it is easy to let things slip both at work and outside work. Not always but a very good boss can usually turn things around with good communications . I get the feeling that things are very frosty at present

How the club disciplines players for breaches in their code of conduct has nothing to do with the fans.

At the start of the year you would have thought Lodge and Funaki would form a big part of our aggression going forward. Here we are round 19 and both are suspended from duties.

Well today's training gallery shows Lodge training with the boys. The plot thickens.

On a sidenote, Nofoaluma was out there running around along with Sirro who must be very close to returning.

Yeh I noticed that too. We'll be a lot stronger with all 3 in the 17.

It was in Rugby League week where they said he had been guilty of continually breaching club standards , so if thts the case as a young bloke you need to drop him

Agreed.Sad cause he has talent but hes carrying on like a buffoon at the moment. This is where if we had an old hard head like Gallen and co he wouldn't be carrying on like a pork chop.If only… :unamused: :unamused:

What utter BS. Gallen carries on like a pork chop and is a disgraceful example of a role model for our younger guys.

Lodge is ordinary anyway, another player that seems to get talked up alot on this forum for no reason it seems, i can't see what the fuss is about with him.

Utter BS huh. Many players have credited their turn around in attitude to Paul Gallen.Sorry but I listen to players more than anonymous forum posters.
