What's the worst win you can remember?

This one surely has to be up there, we didn't look like we wanted to win at all

Edit: Just to clarify I'm generally asking about what wins do people remember that made them swear and sweat through the entire game but be glad and happy at the end result
 
I win take an ugly sugar coated win every week where the only reason we win is the oppositions crappiness,,,thank you..
 
Was never in doubt in the second half, couldn't get the hate from the forum. There are two sides to the game and good defence beats crap attack 9/10.

No one who has ever written "we need to learn how to win ugly" should be whinging now.

our 2nd half was at least passable
 
They did enough to win, penalties kept the Dogs in it.

2nd half I thought was pretty good.

Biggest problem is ball control and the refs made it hard for us.

Our second half was a lot better than the first that's for sure. I just think we made it more difficult for us to win than it really should have been

Yeah, the first half was diabolical except for our defence and, actually our defence was solid the whole game, especially on the goal line. Additionally, I though we created a number of chances, especially in the second half and could have won by more. We looked a lot more threatening than the Dogs, especially with the offloads.

I agree with you there. All season we can make metres with offloads and hard running, but we struggle to convert field position into points. This is why a ball playing fullback is more important for us now that even Tedesco was. This game, the first Parra game and the manly game, we were so dominant that we should have put on an least 2 or 3 extra tries,
 
It felt like we were never going to land the knockout punch, their was a thousand offloads but nothing was coming from them.
We don't look good with the ball at all.
Taylor, Liddle and Reynolds all at 9, what is going on there?
Extremely frustrating game to watch.
Easily our worst performance this season.
 
It's the worst performance this year, but they still got the chocolates and that is the most important thing this year.

The second half was far better than the first, we only conceded a penalty goal and ran in three tries. Tui got involved, Reynolds gave us some spark from DH, and the pigs started running the ball from our own half.

I can see why everyone was on a downer after the first 40\. We looked like garbage against a terrible team. I've long wanted a squad that is willing to win ugly, and we have it now.
 
It has to be remembered the Dogs have matched it with every side they have come up against this year. Okay their attack is bog average, but they are a hard nut to crack as their defence is pretty good and they are physical.. So I take plenty of positives out of this game

That "terrible team " has lost about 6 games by 7 points or less. Cronulla only beat them by 7.

Did you notice Perenera's performance? Six times we had them pinned 5 meters from their line and he gave them a penalty.

I agree that they made some crazy errors, but not a bad performance just the same.
